I'm also one of the rare few. I prefer to be mid or forward. The noise and vibration in the aft bother me.
We are going on our second cruise this coming February. We stayed aft last year and the vibration drove me to distraction. We are staying mid-ship this time and going cheap with an interior cabin. Hoping for an upgrade though.
