  1. I agree it seems there are fewer English speakers on CC. There seems to be even fewer reviews of Costa in South America.

Has anyone traveled with Costa to South America? How many English speaking passengers would you guess were on board? Just curious of the number of other NA Families would be on-board.

What were your thoughts about the trip? 10-Day trip on Fascinosa. We would stop in Rio, Brazil Beaches, Buenos Aires and Montevideo.

Not many Costa reviews of South American itineraries on CC. I would love to hear from any past cruisers to SA.

  2. We have sailed Costa in the Caribbean and in Europe. Many, many North Americans on the Caribbean cruise and a total of 42 English speaking on the European cruise.

  3. You can purchase both booze and beer on Sunday in Dade County.

    Frommers says:

Florida state law prohibits the sale of alcohol between 3am and 7am, unless the county chooses to change the operating hours later. For instance, Miami-Dade County liquor stores may operate 24 hours. Alcohol sales on Sundays vary by county; some, such as Palm Beach and Miami-Dade County, can start serving booze as early as 7am while other counties such as Monroe don't start popping corks until noon

  4. Sailing this March 2014 on Eurodam.

I have noticed that the terms "Hydropool" and "Thermal Suite" are used separately. Are they two different spa services? If yes, what are the Thermal Suites?

Does the daily pass include both the hydropool and steam rooms, sauna, etc.

What is the daily cost per person?

  5. We use room service as our "wake up call". Each port day we schedule room service early enough to get our family of four feed and ready to be among the first off the ship.

Hot chocolate & chocolate croissants for the girls and black coffee for Dad. Nothing better than coffee with a view of an island or port. If available, we order sliced deli meat & rolls and make sandwich's for a quick bite while in port.

We like late dinner in the MDR and sometimes having the option of room service after a port and before the MDR will keep everyone's blood sugar (and tempers) in great spirits!!!
