Thanks. I applied a month ahead of time and received a number. It stated I would be getting an email with final approval. I just thought 2 days was cutting it a bit close being we will be flying to Boston on Tuesday, and taking proctored Covid tests Wednesday morning - not having received approval yet.

Email or call them, Last October I got mine but My husband did not, so we emailed and he got it within the hour.  2 days before.

We are also on the Pearl this Friday !  We only have a 25 min drive to the peer so not as stressful as flying. Hope you enjoy your time in Boston

We used the eMed proctored tests for this trip and a previous one. It was actually pretty simple—and I’m a “nervous Nellie”.  We even brought home tests with us on the ship but haven’t had symptoms to warrant testing.

We use the Stop the Spread site in Lawrence, MA  for our October 2021 cruise. There is no cost for the test.  I did a test run yesterday and had the results in my portal this am at 7 am today.  If you go to COVID-19 test search results | Mass.gov they list the sites in Mass.

Nice little beach… pricey but worth being away from crowds. We had two chairs and an umbrella and lunch of a burger, hot dog of black bean burger. People could upgrade to chicken or local fish for $10. We also got a bottle of Poland spring water.

Thank you very much for this and all the other information.  17 days  to go for us

How was checking in at Black Falcon?  Were they enforcing arrival times?

The last time we cruised from Boston, they were very strict about arrival times and I'm trying to co-ordinate a family group coming from different locations. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated!

Where do you get the  check in time?

We’re at Clearwater Beach on an excursion right now and someone said the water is about 74. Not sure but it felt good. Not quite Caribbean, but we’re in a sheltered area near St George so no waves and pretty deserted. D16811DF-3FAB-4FEB-8064-B3D543E1287E.thumb.jpeg.d0419b39f7c9e3af146b3b04cff25619.jpeg

We were thinking about the trip to Clearwater beach, what was it like? What was included in the package? thank you !

Bermuda no longer the requires the test results in advance to be uploaded, but you still need to upload a copy of your vax card and pay the $40pp.  You just bring  the results to the port and show them at check-in.  It just changed recently.

Thanks are you taking the cruise from Boston this year?

We left from Boston on 04/15 at that time only unvaccinated children (and adults who qualify) were being tested again at the pier before embarking.
Everyone has to bring proof of a negative Covid test with them to the pier as well (test taken 2-3 days prior depending on vaccination status)

Having said that with Covid cases rising again in our area things could change so check the NCL site regularly for updates and even after you book check it daily as it gets closer to your sailing.

Some schools here in RI are again requiring masks starting this week 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you   We were planning on getting tested on Wednesday before we leave.  It should be ok for both NCL and Bermuda.

NP - will do & give him a written note for you.

Weather permitting - everyone's been to Bermuda multiple times, except for the "other" SIL.  We'll probably take the free NCL ferry over to SG and walk, they used to offer a free walking tour in front of the visitor's center/musuem ... except 2 seniors in the group aren't good with steep incline & hills.  Might just stroll around the waterfront.

Friday's forecast is good but Thursday isn't - just going to wing it, water temperature still cool but will be nice to make our own way over to the pink beach / bay.  Public buses might be too crowded to get on & come back.  If practical, we might "hire" a minivan with a driver to take us around the island, 2-3 hours with scenic stops for a flat rate - be more practical & money-wise than the ship excursions (pretty sure bluesea777 has ideas for us)

we did a van tour on one of our trips and it was fabulous.  Saw places we hadn't seen in 9 trips to Bermuda.  It was worth the price!

Not yet and per my account we are still booked for this cruise.  We have already had 2 canceled due to covid which were norther Europe ending in Southampton.  It is looking like strike 3 but keeping my fingers crossed

  10. On the Breakaway they have Club Balcony's forward on the 8th deck with very large balcony's

The balcony had 2 lounge chairs a table and 2 regular chairs with plenty of room to walk.

They are open to the decks above, but we felt they were worth the extra $ on 2 Bermuda cruises.

They are more than the other Club balconies, but we like to sit outside while in port
