Thanks to the OP for posting all of this - just now catching up. We are considering whether to book this ship in early January on the last cruise just before dry dock. Your posts are very helpful!

The November 3rd Allure cruise itinerary just emailed out is the same as the Dec. 8th above - they also replaced St. Kitts with San Juan.

We are also on the January 2, 2017, sailing on the Celebrity Equinox, and got the same call/text/emails. FWIW, Celebrity Equinox had an excellent rating by the CDC for 2016, so hopefully the delayed boarding (just half an hour?) will result in a very clean ship. I'd still expect salt and pepper shakers, etc, to be in short supply the first first days of our cruise.

That said, we would also love to hear details if anyone on board the Equinox now sailing from St. John to FLL would care to comment.
