    I agree.
and good point. I was trying to point out that it isn’t a number to limit drinks on a drink package. It’s not a “money saving”

thing on their part. It’s an overall rule. But you are correct as well.

Cuts down when cruisers are sharing😂

A secret on RCL regarding in-room TV.

If you think there were very few TV channels on RCL, try to go to Menu and look for Films. There you will find about 120-130 movies and about 30-90 movies are free, depending on the grade of cabin you are in.

I prefer RCL. Carnival can be very repetitious (food, itinerary, activities) and predictable. RCL speciality dining is really another level. And the coffee is better on RCL, not to mention Diamond lounge.

For reference, I am Platinum on Carnival and Diamond Plus on RCL. So there is no fan-dom talk here, just pure personal experiences.

Yes, RCL is a step above

First time on Celebrity and sailing from Southampton. How strict are they about taking on alcohol on embarkation?.

We have drinks included, but we like a drink while getting ready for dinner or sitting on the balcony.

We will not be taking it anywhere else on the ship.

    Thanks.

Do you have the opportunity to self-isolate prior to the cruise? That is what I have done for all four of my post-restart sailings and what I plan to do for my upcoming March sailing. I do have to physically go to work every day, but I wear a KN95 mask walking to/from my car and keep my office door closed all day when isolating. I isolate for the 10 days prior to the cruise.

    You really love your cruising!😁

As people who have to fly across the country for a cruise, we stopped lugging all those heavy clothes along years ago when it got so expensive to do so.  No suit or sport coat for my husband, just khakis and a long sleeve shirt and tie.  For me just black pants and a pretty top.  That's about as fancy as we get in our old age!

    Good for you.

    Have a great relaxed cruise!!😅
