  1. When I have tried to get a quote they required a foreign address. I’ll try again.

    Thanks!

Clay - IMG is the GlobeHopper "Senior Single Trip policy.

Atlas is Atlas International for US citizens.

GeoBlue is only for US citizens.

I may have inappropriately identified you as a "senior," so if so, I'm sorry!

  2. Hubby and I are newly retir...ahem, no longer working:Dand are about to depart on a seven month long trip to determine where we want to spend the next stage of our lives. We have COBRA which will cover us in the US but not outside. We have trip/evacuation/accident insurance through my Chase Preferred so I only want to buy health insurance to cover us while our the US. However all the policies I can find are set up for ex-pats living in a single country rather than for someone traveling for a lengthy period or include the coverages I already have and don't need to duplicate and pay for.

If anyone can point me in the Right direction to find what we need it would be most appreciated!

GeoBlue, IMG, and Atlas Travel Medical all sell medical only. They usually will quote only six months or fewer before a trip. They sell by the trip ot by the year.

  3. We are looking for a different cruise line and some of our friends have gone on 10 cruises with Princess. They love it. What do you all think of it?

We enjoyed Princess on a trans-Atlantic cruise, and we greatly appreciated our mini-suite over a standard stateroom - especially on this linger cruise!

  4. Wife and I booked a 50 day cruise the Fall which necessitates flying to Seattle for embarkation and returning home from San Diego I always try to arrange for direct flights when possible; however, my options are limited. I was able to find direct flights to and from our home vicinity(Florida) on Alaska Airlines (first class refundable) for a surprising low price when compared to other airlines and cruise arranged flights. Is this a case of "you get what you pay for" or does Alaska airline provide premium service at lower fares? I have researched Sky Trax, and the reivews are varied (superb, excellent, would not recommend, etc.) Since the tickets are fully refundable, I have ample time to continue my search; however, I would appreciate any comments from anyone who has flown with this airline. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if our other reply went through. Our home airport is Seattle, and we fly Alaska frequently. They use 737s exclusively for longer flights and have recently upgraded Coach on most. We fly First for transcontinental flights, and have always had above-average food and entertainment plus good service. Baggage is usually exceptionally quick. Ask any specific questions if you have them.
