I’ve been to Nassau more times than I can count over a 25 year span, so for our last cruise that stopped there, I planned on staying on the ship thinking that I’ve seen and done it all. Thankfully, my brother in law convinced the group to get a boat for the day and explore beyond the usual spots. It was, without a doubt, one of the most amazing days I’ve ever had in Nassau. We went to secluded beaches, and went swimming surrounded by turtles. I developed a completely new appreciation for Nassau. Here are some photos:

where did you rent the boat from?

.  this would be perfect for our trip in Dec. thanks

  2. I found a website that was resortforaday.com. It has packages to Rose Hall Hilton. Don't know how it compares price wise but I think it included transportation. I would be curious if you found a better price.

I decided to call the resort to inquire about a day pass. I also did an online chat to inquire about it. The online chat offered a double queen oceanfront suite for the day for 4 and an infant for just over $1000. The phone call informed me to visit the resortforaday web site to book. She did say that the resort may have some available closer to the dock date.

  3. I still would love to hear examples of this 'extra service' that justifies tipping more than the already extortionate 18%. If it's just "skipping the line", I feel it's unethical to pay for that.

What else are they doing for you? Shoe shines? Like, I legitimately cannot imagine what 'extra' 'above and beyond' service a bartender can provide that would justify any additional tips.

Have you ever had you lap crumbed??
