Don’t know if you’ve already sailed, if not I hope your Cruise wasn’t cancelled. Sailed with an 8 month old, 1.5 year old, and 3.5 year old just last week. Did not do beach in St. Lucia, but in St. Kitts we used Chris’ taxi service islanyute@gmail.com He was amazing and cheap. Took us to Carambola Beach Club about 15 minutes drive which had serene waters and was very clean.
In Antigua we went to BeachLimerz info@beachlimerz.com
Gail is the owner. It was amazing! Quiet beach and clean. She can also hook you up with transportation. It’s again maybe 10-15 minutes away.

On the NCL Jewel class of ships we always book a non-haven 2 Bedroom family suite. It is cheaper than a haven AND You still get all the same Haven perks i.e. Private breakfast and lunch, concierge, butler, etc! The only thing you do not get is access to the Haven pool.

Some unusual questions I have not found on the boards yet....
1) My son is 7 months, but very large for his age - he is the size of an average 15-18 month old. He can’t walk yet, and is way to heavy for me to carry even with a carrier. I plan on bringing his regular Uppababy Vista for embarkation and to walk the ports, but I am also going to bring a smaller umbrella stroller for the ship (my husband is 6’7” so the smaller stroller is not useful for him in ports.)
Has anyone checked their stroller at the dock with your luggage? Or would I need to carry it on?2) Has anyone brought a small baby food maker like a baby brezza? Is it allowed? (Tried asking the cruise line but they didn’t really understand what I was asking.) Is it necessary or will we be able to get soft steamed veggies so we can mash them up?
3) My son LOVES his walker. He can spend hours in it. Has anyone brought their walker with them? (We have a 2bd suite so there is enough room for him.) Again, would you check it or carry onboard?

No. It means the ship had arrived and had been tied up and secured at 10 am. For example in this cruise despite the 10 am scheduled arrival they were aiming for an 8 am arrival and the published disembarkation plans called for the first self assist walk offs to start at about 830 to 8:45 . At many ports of call on this and the previous cruise first disembarking was often 30 minutes or more after arrival time. Same arrangement for the 75 or so previous cruises we've taken. If course sometimes the ship arrives earlier and disembarkation starts earlier than expected.
NJhorseman I trust your knowledge so wondering your opinion......We are leaving on the Gem next Monday 2/24. When registering it asked what time do you want to check in...my friends chose the earliest time provided which was 9:30am (we have a suite so its open time for us). If the ship is not scheduled to arrive until 10am why do you think they offer such an early time? Is it just an automatic computer thing?
Also, if the ships does arrive on schedule at 10AM what time do you think they will start the boarding process?
THANK YOU!!!

Does anyone know on what deck the gangway is on the Ruby Princess in Los Angeles?

I have taken the NCL excursion to Islands of Adventure and had more than enough time to see the whole park including the original Wizarding World. Keep in mind we were 4 adults and we go at the end of August when schools in the south are back in session. When leaving from the pier and from the park there are so many buses they fill up and leave very quickly practically no waiting.
