  1. We'll be on the Escape in July for the Western Caribbean schedule, Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya, and Cozumel. We usually like to stay on the ship for one port and ride the slides, etc. and maybe just hop off for a quick bite and a little shopping, more of a relaxing day. Which port would be the best to do this? For our excursions, we like snorkeling. I hear Honduras has great snorkeling.

  2. It's on July 23rd, so it's pretty close. When I looked at the Skyride on Trip Advisor, the people at the Skyride made it seem like it was cheaper to buy the tickets on the ships... Maybe all the excursions aren't showing because I've already booked an excursion in St. Thomas. I made the booking before I realized you had to call for the credit to apply.

  3. So if you're in the Haven, do you just go to the concierge to put your butler's tip on your onboard account and get your voucher?

Also, for tips to bartenders, can't you just write it on the receipt and it'll be charged to your onboard account?

  4. On the Escape, do they sell the Skyride St. Thomas tickets? I thought maybe it'd be offered as an "excursion", but for some reason, St. Thomas is only showing me four excursions. If they do sell the tickets on the ship, anyone have luck using their shore excursion credit promo on the ticket purchases?

  5. We've been on the Breakaway and had no problems with the crew. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I often find myself wondering how NCL crews are always so wonderful. Haven't seen a grumpy crew member yet.

  6. Trust me, I know I won't. And really it wasn't so much for me, although I would get something, but it was nice being able to get my son a snack before dinner. Of course as long as the ice cream machine works, he'll be happy.

My son is addicted to the ice cream, lol.

  7. I have done both with young teens and their vote would be the H4.

They preferred the privacy, said couch in H6 was not comfortable even with egg crate and they LOVED being right in the Haven.

My vote of course would be the H6 for the amazing balcony but now only do them when it is just the two of us.

Totally agree! And the kids can go to the pool and you can stick your head out and check on them. They can walk ten feet and get onion rings from the lounge. I'm hungry... Go to the lounge! [emoji23]

  8. Is Gertrude's family friendly, at least mostly family friendly? I saw a poster for a wet tshirt contest. [emoji51] Are there food choices other than $25 chicken and $30 tuna, etc.?
