RCI has just changed my booking to room 6562 from room 8514... both are category DO, but they screwed up our booking and 8514 was no longer available.

Does anyone have any photos/reviews of that room or similar?

Any help is appreciated

was all very simple in the end.

clicked cancel booking, cancelled it, $0 fee, then rebooked the same room. saved over $500 and no fees :)

There are many CC members from Australia who probably know the answer to your question. You may want to start a new thread with a title that would get their attention, like "Australian cruiser needs RCI price drop info".

had a read through their cancellation policy that i got emailed with deposit - says that if i cancel after august 2016, i lose $200 pp. doesnt say anything about before...

Here in the US, just need to call and they adjust the price. Not sure if that applies to Australia.

Thanks Blackshirt- I tried to give the number here a call but its only open monday to friday business hours... im used to carnival's 24/7 booking line!

I have booked onto the Ovation of the Seas for next January. I have paid my $400 deposit but just saw that the exact same room category that I have booked has dropped over $500 :\ I only booked 2 days ago... How does RCI Handle these situations?

A quick questions that I was wondering whether anyone could help me with.

We are cruising on the NCL Jade around the Western Mediterranean in January 2015 and upon returning to Civitavecchia, are flying to Germany.

The Jade docks at 5am. We can get a flight at 9:15am.

Do you think this will be enough time to get off the ship and from Civitavecchia to Aeroporto Inter****onale Leonardo da Vinci di Fiumicino or do we need to allow more time for disembarking??

Any advice welcome!

I have been tasked with planning a 2015 European holiday for 12 people, myself included and i have suggested that we all go on a cruise.

We have specific dates that we must be in the UK for 2 90th birthday parties 4 weeks apart.

We can start the cruise any date after the 15th of January and we must be back in the UK by the 15th of February, preferably the 14th.

After quite a lot of research, I have found 2 main cruises that seemed to peek everyone's interests.

Option 1:

Option 2:

Ship: MSC Fantasia

from/to: Genoa, Italy / Genoa, Italy

Departure date: 29 January 2015 for 11 nights

Ports of Call: Genoa, Barcelona, Casablanca, Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Funchal, Malaga, Civitavecchia

Everyone is happy with both itineraries however as I have only ever been on Carnival (2), Princess (2) and P&O (2), I am unsure as what to recommend...
