Hi! Thanks for sharing.
If you have a chance, can you share senior officers onboard? If not in stateroom, then probably on the TV. Interested in Food and Bev mostly, but whatever you can provide is great!
Enjoy!

I am sorry but I do not think quarantined in a cruise ship cabin with all the food and drinks you want can be considered a Prisoner.
True. Prisoners get at least an hour of outdoor recreation time every day. 🤣😂

This may be where your husband can help, since he can be out and about. A loud, firm voice (not yelling) may get attention. I'm sure they would like to keep other passengers, especially suite passengers from hearing too much about having to be moved to Deck 3 with no fresh air because you did the right thing and reported Covid symptoms.
No worries. Hubby is on it! 🙂

Thanks for the support to myself and hubby.
We, like many (but clearly not all), try to be decent people and do the right thing for our fellow guests and the fabulous crew.
It sucks, no doubt, but a small price to pay to ensure everyone else's health and safety.
Love you honey! ❤️

sorry to hear about this....maybe its just me but if I "woke up with cold chills and congestion" I think I would take some paracetamol, some wine and go back to bed for the day as the thought of being stuck in a room for days doesn't fit well.
Extraordinarily selfish. Unbelievable some people.

And, just like on this thread/website, you'll find lots of people who like to hear themselves complain about cuts to everything, but wouldn't be happy no matter what happened.
Celebrity is fabulous and, just like most things in life, its a great as you let it be! Enjoy!

One of the new lunch menu's from Solstice this week...
-
Here's hoping you meant to type "May 7th", otherwise you're gonna be a little early in Hawaii!
-
They will have a traditional menu and, usually, its a chic evening, so an elevated menu as well. Have done the last 3 Thanksgiving's on ships and have not been disappointed at all.
Enjoy!

Aloha,
We're about 3 weeks out from boarding Solstice for the 10 night Hawaii to Vancouver cruise.
We received info from Celebrity stating that boarding will be delayed due to customs/inspections until 1pm.
Any idea what we should expect for the concierge lunch, since it usually takes place earlier than boarding will allow?
Mahalo!

I am interested in the same sailing this year.
We love Bermuda and wonder if you were able to swim there. We have been mid to late May and I think the water is fine though many do not.
Were there a lot of people in the ocean when you were there?
Thank you and thanks for the review.
It was too chilly for the water this year, but if the weather goes the right way, I'm sure it's happened before!

I was on the cruise with my husband, too! Didn't find myself in any of your pictures, but glad you enjoyed! We had a blast!

Our specialty experiences have always been good. Tuscan was full and people seemed happy. Maybe it was the odd combination we ordered. We will be back on the Summit in October in Aqua Class with two other couples so we will most likely try again.
We had the same negative Tuscan experience in our first suite on the summit during the repo in April. Service was lacking, hectic, and rushed. Food was salty and sub-par. Sad to see they haven't improved much int he weeks since.

You already did good as the same package is now at 2404.46!

Honestly, the option of the main dining room menu should really be used for when there isn't anything one likes on the Luminae menu. If too many people do this regularly we can be assured that service will suffer and they will soon decide to eliminate this option.
That's like saying if people keep ordering multiple entree's they will take that option away, too. The dishes all come from the same kitchen, it doesn't matter to them what is ordered.

What space are they replacing with this...anyone have any ideas? Just noticed on the celebrity website that there are new deck plans for the Reflection effective 4/11/15 (Beginning of Eastbound TA), but I can't spot the differences...

The small versions are your basic gin or vodka martinis as well as cosmos made with bar level ingredients or name call liquors such as Absolute & Stoli vodka or Beefeater & Tangueray gin. The premium package gets you upgraded liquors such as Ketel One, Belvedere or Grey Goose vodka as well as Bombay Sapphire gin. The premium package also gets you the larger martinis at the martini bar, the majority of which are 10 dollars. There are about 20 different various concoctions and not all of them contain gin or vodka.
I would wait until you get on board to peruse your different choices at both the martini bar as well as the molecular bar and see if the choices are appealing. It will only cost you 11.50 per day to upgrade since you got the classic package as part of the 123 or pick your perk promotions. You also get fancier bottled waters and fancier coffees with the premium package as well as the raised limits to 12 for alcoholic drinks instead of 5 for beer and 8 for wine and mixed drinks.
Thanks!

I have a question for all you Celebrity veterans out there...
I just booked my first cruise on the Silhouette in January. I also am getting the Basic Alcoholic drink package. I know the limit is $8 for an alcoholic drink, but I have heard that you can get small versions of martinis that will be covered by this?
Has anyone had any experience with this?
Thanks!
