That doesn't make any sense.  They make a good portion of their profits off of upgrades...they all do.

You agreed at payment that promotions are subject to change.  The cruise line allowed a grace period and you did not take it.  This is not false advertising.  If you are that butt hurt cancel your cruise.  This is really quite simple

Every time I have gone from Miami I stay at Hampton Brickell...and it's excellent.  However I may want something a little different (Life House Little Havana) prior to Seaside.  I found this place but there are almost no reviews.  If you have stayed here please share some of your experience.

We did exactly this earlier this year.

We are thinking of doing a one day auto rental to get from POM to FLL after the cruise. Our flight home leaves at 10:45 PM, so we'll pick up the ship after disembarking , drive into Miami or Ft Lauderdale, have a beach day and dinner and then drive to the airport and drop off the car. Doesn't look too expensive

Victory was the first ship I sailed on and am booked to revisit this ship in a few days. I'm on the Feb 16 sailing later this week. I will be writing a review afterwords but it may take a couple weeks as I'm also sailing Navigator of the seas on the 20th. I am more excited to see Victory again than NOS if truth be told.

In response to your thread's title: Yes, but they were family and I did book the cruise with them....:D

 

My only experience with "bad" tablemates was a couple assigned to our table of eight. They were evangelicals that came to dinner with a Bible in hand, wanted to hold hands for a blessing before the meal (we let them do it the first night) and was always looking for a way to bring a mini sermon of redemption and salvation into the conversation.

 

Luckily, they were pretty easy to shut down when they tried. :evilsmile:

Great review. I am glad to gave found it. I'm on a 5 day on Navigator Feb 20 2018. I'm also doing a 3 day on Enchantment 4 days prior.

I believe the limit is two cartons. The last cruise I went on out of San Juan I brought an extra suitcase. If I remember right I had either 16 or 18 cartons stuffed in this thing. I hadnt declared them of course it glowed bright orange at the ag check. The guy asked me what was in there,,,I told him...he looked at me like I was crazy. He said the limit is 2 cartons...I told him I live in NY and its (at the time) 11 a pack...he waived me through. I got lucky...now I UPS them back.

we depart on Sunday 2/25, we get some decent prices flying in Saturday arriving at 615am so would stay saturday night and then we return on that following Friday and can get a great price on a ticket to fly back home but departing Miami airport at 1052pm on that same day so would be looking for something to do from the time we get off the ship til the flight leaves at 11pm. Car rental for the day maybe? just looking for suggestions.
