  1. I had planed not to comment on this review until it was said and done.

After reading a few comments , I'll put in my fifty cent worth ;).

I enjoy reviews like the OP's ,if you read here long enough you will notice that people writing reviews will get ripped into for their opinions long before the actual review begins.

I can tell you after reading here for years most people that start reviews read the comments and never finish their reviews, I cant blame them. Look how many reviews I have done, not to many :D. To me it's not worth writing a review if others attack the OP or the review before it actually comes to life.

I hope the OP will finish this review ,we really do learn things from another's point of view.

    Enjoying your review OP .

  2. In my case, the deadbolt wasn't on because my husband wasn't in the room and would need to be able to get in when he returned. It wasn't the fact that the steward walked in that got me - that sort of thing happens from time to time in a hotel or on a ship. But when the guy realized I was changing and didn't apologize and duck out...... that wasn't ok in my book.

    No ,that wasn't right

  3. So I just spent the last 2 hours walking every square inch of the ship. Great ship. Lots to do. Plenty to eat. Lots of different places to eat. Awesome water slides and rope climbing area.

    Not one bucket anywhere!

I did smell a little sewer smell in a few places. But nothing that would ruin my cruise.

Cabins are nice. Very clean. Staff seems friendly. So far so good.

I am not a cheerleader for any line. I cruise them all. So I will give an honest review based on facts.

That's great , Let us know how you like the meat lasagna :p:eek:

  5. I would probably make a lot of mistakes, as that's a role I'm definitely not trained for.

But I would start by making two decisions that would definitely be beneficial for this company as a whole.

I'd consult with a real estate relocation expert to find the best purchase deal possible for two particular home properties in the city. I'd also contract with a quality moving company, and arrange a large number of boxes.

I'd walk unannounced into the office of Vickey Rey and advise that her efforts were recognized, but her role with CCL was no longer needed. I might even end with the statement, "Betcha didn't see that one coming". ;)

I'd then do close to the same with James Doucheberra, but would hand him a blank sheet of paper and a pen, and ask him to list his best timely accomplishments since arriving on the scene five years ago. Once he got to number 4 and started staring at the ceiling and scratching his head I'd fully realize my next step was indeed necessary. I'd take the keys to the company vehicle and suggest he share a cab with Vickey. :)

    Yep, that's how I'd get started. :D

    .

That's good , don't forget Rob Borden, Vice President of Customer Marketing

  6. How far is it from the parking to the porter. We've never gone out of Jacksonville before and someone said that you have to pull your luggage a long way to the porter. They suggested we park off site and take a shuttle. We have always parked at the ports so I'm trying to figure it out.

    Cruise fan

You drop your bags before you park, less than a ten or fifteen minute walk.

  7. Jaxport is safe, been there a few times with no problems. Or you could stay over night at the Hampton and leave your car parked there for FREE.

Also Hilton Garden is great and will shuttle you to the port and back again.

And I agree with you not many people hang around the port of call boards to answer your questions, so I hope this helps you in your quest ;)

  8. MTD would be best for you, because of the time you like to eat

The Italian restaurant is very good

If your really picky... Do lido for dinner and you can get what you want and not have to dress up....

The only problem I found on the Breeze with the exception of three or four nights ,they have stopped serving carved meats usually found in the Aft dining area on Lido. When asking about this cut it was explained that their wanting people to eat more in the MDR.
