I am very anxious to know how your cruise goes. I too am boarding in Ft Lauderdale on May 2 when you disembark. I hope you’ll have a chance to report in while you’re sailing.

Princess has changed our hotel to the Brick Hotel. We are booked on a three day pre cruise package in BA. Has anyone stayed at this hotel?

Will we need Australian currency to pay for taxi from hotel to our ship? Also, will we need NZ currency at the ports of call? Where would we get best exchange rate? Our bank in the USA, the airport or ATM in Sydney? Two weeks and counting!

After speaking to Princess, they reassured me that they handle our visas for a $20 per person charge as we booked our cruise directly through them. We were told that, if you use a travel as agent, then you have to obtain the visas yourselves.

We are sailing to NZ from Sydney in February on th Sun Princess. It is my understanding that Princess adds $20 to our bill for each Visa and makes the arrangements. A friend sailing on the same cruise told me that this has changed. We are Americans. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

We are on the Sun Princess back to back cruises to NZ and South Pacific in February. My husband's favorite meal is lamb chops which have only been available only at the Crown Grill the last couple of cruises!

We enjoy wines from these areas. Will they be offered on cruises originating in Australia? Also, is NZ lamb served for dinner. Looking forward to our cruise in February!

We were fortunate to get first class to Hawaii on American using miles. From Honolulu to Sydney flying Hawaii Airlines Economy Plus. My husband is tall so hope the extra legroom helps! Thanks for all the great advice!

Any hints on how to prepare for the long flight to Australia? Luckily stopping in Hawaii for a couple of days!

We're a party of 4 flying in the night before to board a cruise on the Sun Princess to New Zealand. What is the cost of a taxi for 4 from the Rydges Sydney Airport Hotel to the dock? Would it be better to arrange for a transfer leaving from the airport to the dock? Thanks!
