We just finished a transatlantic on the Equinox and had cabin 1666 SV sky suite. It was our third corner aft cruise. I love the bigger room and balcony. We spend a lot of time in our cabin so it was great to have the extra space. We did have access to a butler who handled Retreat passengers in addition to our room attendant and two individuals in the Retreat lounge. 

We just finished today the transatlantic crossing from Fort Lauderdale to Lisbon Portugal on the Equinox 😊 (April 11-23). Same stops in Bermuda and Ponta Delgada -  Azores and then on to Porto Lisbon with the ending in Lisbon. The seas were rough in the beginning and then became like glass after the Azores.

We saved $1000.00 on our transatlantic cruise for next April! On our cruise to Alaska next month we were able to upgrade to a grand suite at no cost  because it was priced lower than the amount we paid for our JS. However, the remaining price difference was not refunded back to us as we were doing this after final payment.

Had this yesterday on the Adventure…🙄. I told her that I did not have the extra money to keep up the regiment she was suggesting 😬. I had just finished the massage and mini facial..

At the front desk on the way out the receptionist told me that I “qualified “ to meet with the Med doctor to discuss facial rejuvenation 😳. It blew her mind when I declined the special invitation 🤯🤯. Talk about upsell…😡

I really want to do the Great Lakes cruise but the cost is 🤯. Hopefully they will someday do some kind of special. I don’t need airfare so that’s not a plus for me 😊

Where is a good place to leave my car? 

Ordered from Emed 1/6/22. Order confirmed and approved 1/7/22.  Called 1/12/22  to check on delivery and was told it would be Friday. Called today and received an email saying the order was not processed within 7 days of the order date and therefore the order was canceled. I was welcome to go back to the website and order again but that I wouldn’t receive it in time for my trip on 1/21/22. What the hell! Now I’m trying to get and appointment for 3 of us at CVS or Walgreens. Of course I’m having NO luck 🤯😡😡

Is the Windjammer self serve or they serve you? 

I wonder how the masking is going to affect the excursions we have booked for Alaska. Two are Princess excursions and one is private. 🤔

Next Saturday we board our first HAL cruise on  the Oosterdam for Alaska to celebrate our 29 wedding anniversary! We were able to snag a Neptune suite 7142.  Since we have never sailed HAL, is there anything we should know or look out for in terms of eating or shows.... We are very excited to try a new cruise line 😊

We are going on a Norway cruise with Hurtigruten next year. My parents did their South America/Antarctica cruise last year and loved it. 200 pax ship, great service and food, and educational lectures and immersive experiences. I can't wait to try them for Norway!

Having taken many of his land tours, I'm thrilled he writes to the cruise industry. He has done a good job with the limited time we have in ports.

Locations on the ship are the difference.

We had the S1 8340 on Silhouette a couple of weeks ago and loved it! The balcony was great. I wish it had a bit more shade but that did not stop us from using it. The perks were awesome and we had plenty of room for the two of us.

We just got off the ship on Sunday (April 10) and we are having MAJOR withdrawals! We had a S1. 8340 and loved it! I wish we could have taken our butler Alex home with us. Luminae was great and service was top notch. Have fun!

I need to leave our sitter the number to call the ship (Silhouette) this next week in case she cannot reach us on our cellphones 😊 I could not find the number in my documents. thanks!!
