February 29 - March 15, 2020 Emerald Princess Eastbound Panama Canal. Had a wonderful time and we  were not aware of any sickness on board.  About 1/2 way through it did become mandatory to wash hands with soap and water before entering the buffet and we could not serve ourselves.  We figured someone may have had Noro.  We were detained disembarking in Panama for health check and were declined docking in Cartagena.  It was still one of the best cruises ever.

Can't wait until we can book another trip with Princess. 

Not only do you need to factor in the distance, but also the heat and humidity.  1 1/2 miles in brilliant sunshine can be punishing.

There is a machine in the laundry room that will dispense tokens using your room card or Medallion.  To save money, I brought my own Tide pods and dryer sheets.  The machines are standard household top loading washer and regular dryer. I believe there is a sign posted that indicates the amount of time for the washing and drying cycle.  Our room was just down the hall, so I relaxed in our room between loads.
