Thanks!  It's a crazy time!

So, I booked a Balkan cruise on Princess out of Copenhagen (May 2020 cruise cancelled) for June 2021. An hour later I receive an email from Princess  (Voyage Redeployment) that my cruise will begin and end in Southampton and one of the ports is cancelled and adding another!  Plus, I won't get my new booking information with updated itinerary for some time ... but by Sept 25th!  I call my Cruise Vacation Planner with Princess and she is clueless and I check the website and my cruise out of Copenhagen is still listed!  It definitely makes me wonder if the cruise lines are in any position to start rebooking.

Looking for transportation options from airport to hotel and found information regarding purchasing the Copenhagen Card for entry to attractions and also for use of transportation around the city and from the airport to hotel.  Has anyone used this card when arriving at airport to get to your hotel?  Would luggage be a problem?

People write in regarding taking a bus from the hotel to the cruise port and airport.  How do you take all your luggage on a bus?  Wouldn't a cab be better?  Do they have uber in Denmark?

Has anyone stayed at the Ascot Hotel?  The ground floor rooms have AC and the hotel looks like it's located in a good area for sightseeing.

Planning a Baltic cruise in May 2020 on Sky Princess and staying 2 nights before and 2 nights after in Copenhagen.  I may not be needing A/C at the end of May and early June, but we are looking for hotels with A/C. Can anyone share their experience with the hotel situation in Copenhagen?  So far, the costs have been pretty high ... $420 per night which does include a high VAT tax plus additional taxes.  Looking at 71 Nyhavn Hotel at this time but willing to consider any suggestions.  Thanks for your help.

Early stages of planning for a Baltic cruise out of Copenhagen May 28,2020 and researching for good hotels close to the city center and cruise port.  Staying 2 nights at the beginning of cruise and 2 nights at the end.  We like to book hotels with efficiencies if possible.  Any suggestions?  Thank you!

I am trying to book a cabin on the Sky Princess Baltic Cruise for 2020 and looking for a Deluxe Balcony but I am told that you cannot choose your cabin ... you are only "guaranteed" that type of cabin.  We have been on over 25 cruises and have never had this issue before.  We do tend to book Mini Suites on longer cruises so maybe that's why I haven't experienced this.  Is this something new?  Anyway around it?  If not, can you at least choose the deck that you desire? Thanks.

Our Celebrity cruise arrives at 3:30 PM and departs at 11:30 PM.  Other than walking around town and having dinner ... any other ideas?  It is safe to walk the streets at night?

Does anyone know if Princess allows buttane powered curling irons onboard? I know the airlines approve it if in your carryon luggage but I know the cruise lines have gotten very precautious in the past couple of years ... not allowing hand held steamers or power outlets. Thanks

I did contact Dunedin Railway and they confirmed the train departs at 9:30. I also contacted Princess since it states that the train would pick up passengers at the cruise terminal at 8:30 ... although our arrival time has changed to 9:00. I also thought there was only one train and I am waiting on a call back from my cruise specialist at Princess. Thanks for all of your responses.

Princess has changed our arrival time for Dunedin from 8:00 to 9:00AM on Oct 28th. We had planned on doing the Taieri Gorge Railway on our own but it begins at 9:00AM which will not work as we arrive in Port Chalmers at 9:00am. Princess also offers this tour which is stated that it begins at 8:30 AM. My question is .... If the Majestic Princess is the only ship docked on this date, would the Railway actually change the beginning time of this tour? I wouldn't think so as I am sure there are many people who are not on this cruise that are planning on the train to leave at 9:00 AM. Thanks!

Will be in Cairns Nov 8 - Nov 11 and wondering if it is logistically possible to do the Kuranda Railway and Skyway plus the Army Duck Rainforest on our own without booking in advance. Would we need to rent a car in Cairns or is there another way to get to Kuranda? We like the fact of doing it on our own time instead of being stuck with someone else timetable. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for responding. I thought the names autofilled from the cruise booking. The Princess Rep had all of our information from previous cruises so I didn't have to provide any new info so the difference in names is a mystery. It all started out with me calling Princess to correct and then being referred to United and back and forth ..... Princess is the one that told me that my husband may be denied the flight because of the name issue and that's what got me all excited. It was very time consuming and upsetting as no one could make this little correction for me. Definitely feel better now. I can resume the rest of my trip planning! Thank you!

Booked flight on EZ Air from Florida to New Zealand and returning from Sydney to Florida. Princess did not add my husband's middle name ... only the initial. .. although it is added on the Cruise booking. Princess says they cannot do anything and neither can United or Air New Zealand. By the way, we are still two months away from our cruise. Today I was told by the United Mileage Plus Dept that if I call into the United International Dept 3 days before the cruise that they will add my husband's full middle name. I have been told so many things from different people that I don't believe anything anymore. Princess made the error and they will not do anything to compensate for it. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this. Thanks.
