  1. I recently cruised on the Constellation. I tested positive for COVID. I was given OTC meds by ship MD and isolated in my cabin for 4 days(remainder of cruise). My room attendant provided any linens /supplies I needed but no longer cleaned the cabin. I was immediately refunded the excursions I had booked(and also for my spouse) as well as all of the spa appts made. I was credited the internet that I had already paid for and was provided room service all day every day (I had no appetite mostly though). My luggage was handled separately for disembarkation and I was escorted to a private area near the clinic to wait to leave the ship with ny luggage. There were about 10 others in the same situation. I got a call a few days after I got home from Celebrity asking what credit card I wanted my refund for the days I was in isolation. I never requested nor did I expect this. My card was credited this week.  Honestly-they could not have done a better job of customer service for me.

    Don't know about Celebrity, but Royal, Carnival and NCL first tenders from ship  usually start 1/2 hour after anchoring and run regularly as filled. There are more than one tender. Returns are as filled up until last tender, about 1/2 before departure time.  The ship will post times. Tour is only about 90 minutes. So you'll have plenty of time to walk around the Tourism Village.

    We did the Viking Bordeaux cruise September 10.  Crew all wore masks, although often under the nose.  Hardly any passengers wore masks.  I came home and tested positive for Covid on Sept. 18.  They never mentioned if anyone had tested positive and we just never thought about it.  I was not masked except for travel days.  I did not notice any coughing or sniffling so who knows where I got it.  I hope that I didn't give it to anyone as I felt sick on Friday so stayed in my cabin and slept all day and night.  Saturday I wore a mask and traveled home and tested Sunday morning.  Morally I know that I should have tested Friday and gone into quarantine but I wanted to go home.  It was wrong but I made that choice as I would guess others do as well.

    That was my understanding when I called in....that you could add the casino rate to a new or existing BSE booking.   But I had already booked under a different sale with a casino rate, which was $1200 cheaper than the BSE rate.....so not a deal for me.

     

  6. Hi...I called Princess and got the casino offer with 75$ casino play yesterday. I kept my drinks, WiFi and prepaid gratuities. It also re-fared at savings of 250 pp. I felt like it was too easy so I held my breath to get confirmation....and I did. Feeling really lucky because I got a decent rep when I called in.  Maybe call back and get a different rep. In the small print it said booking had to be Dec 17 to Feb 29 and I had re-booked on 17th because my original cruise was cancelled. So maybe there is an offer detail that doesn’t match your booking. Good luck...don’t stop trying

    We have two rooms booked and i was able to add the drinks and wifi to room#2 with no issues as there are two adults in the room. However, our room has a third person - a child - and it caused some confusion.

     

    I was told all three of us had to buy the add-on. I didn’t really want it for our daughter, she is only 4 yrs old,  but it is still a savings for us even with paying $25/day/X3. Basically we all get drinks and wifi for the same price of the one alcohol drink package we would have bought for my husband anyways. 

     

    The problem was the booking system only showed wifi for my daughter since she isn’t old enough for the alcohol package. And it wouldn’t default apply the premier soda and coffee package. I was kept on hold and the rep kept coming back to apologize. In the end, she said that IT needs to add more lines in their reservation system and make a different code available for this to work. She manually added the premier soda and coffee package as a gift, and once their system is adjusted she will change the booking,.

     

    she said there will be a delay on the email confirmations due to the large volume of changes and bookings with the sale. I see the ‘gifted’ soda package in our personalizer, but no reference yet to our drink packages even though the payments page does show our higher rate.

     

    i will have to keep an eye on this.

     

    Look at your travel summary. Mine shows up there 🙂
