  1. Had Art at the table and the Chocolate Sphere on the Horizon in April. The Chocolate Sphere was interesting when served, but pretty tasteless. I love chocolate! Art at the table was a Blast to watch being prepared, but again, fell pretty short taste wise with the exception of the ice cream. Love the other changes to the Steakhouse menu! Not so much the desserts 😩

  2. Just had the new menu on the Horizon.

The Steak Tartare and Bone Marrow app is to die for. I enjoyed the Ribeye(no spice) one night and the new Wagyu? Beef the other. Both were Great!! I have to say that I was not impressed with the new dessert menu. The chocolate sphere is very pretty but is pretty much tasteless. The art at the table is lots of fun to watch, but other than the ice cream, not so much taste interest. I am a dessert person and have to admit I was disappointed. The rest of the menu was fabulous!! I do miss the rosemary bread.

  3. Take Carnivals Tabyana Beach Break. Security on the beach so you can leave your stuff safely. Just walk off the beach and swim a few hundred feet (or pay one of the kayak guys to tow you) and you are on the reef. No guide saying “stay together “. No flippers in the face. Just thousands of colorful fish, sea fans and coral to look at on Your Own time. Be sure to have a Monkey La La. Best drink ever.

  4. I am trying to plan the day in Rome on my April Horizon cruise. I can’t seem to find the time that the train actually leaves for Rome. The times I have found seem to be all over the place. Will those of you who have taken the Carnival excursion using the train to get to Rome please let me know what your experience was. Thank You in advance.

  5. I have been on many Casino cruises and always have a blast. Very seldom do I wait very long for a drink. I memorize my folio number(printed on your S&S card) and give it to the server verbally so he does not have to press the button on the machine and always tip a dollar. By the second day, I have multiple servers checking with me often😄

  6. The best snorkeling at Roatan is at West Bay, on the other side of the island. We book Tabyana Beach Break through Carnival. The coral reef starts about 25-30 yards from the shore, lots of different marine life to see...

Same for us! Each and every time. It is the very best place to snorkel in my opinion and beats the heck out of snorkeling in Belize. Also, on the Carnival excursion, they have security on the beach so you can leave your stuff on your chair and not worry about it. Be sure to have a Monkey La La. It is Roatan's special drink and my personal favorite 😊

  7. On my cruise last January, I took the Stingray and Nurse Shark excursion in Belize. There were several large Barracuda in the water with us, just cruising and following our group. When the guide started throwing bait to try to attract the nurse sharks, a seagull came down to steal some of the bait. One large barracuda streaked up and bit it's head off. He didn't eat it, just spit it out and swam away. It was unreal!! I usually just keep an eye on barracuda if they are swimming near when I snorkel and never wear shiny stuff, but I will admit I was somewhat freaked out by this😬

  8. Love the Breeze!! Roatan is my favorite port. You can snorkel from the beach at Taybana beach and see soooooo many fish and corals without having to go out on a boat with lots of others and having to stay in a group. Either way, have a Blast!!
