Maybe a SPOILER ALERT but holy Survivor. This whole fit over some Applebee’s?! 😳

And she kept harping on it. I thought the crying and begging was over the top too.

Well, an earthquake was not part of my morning plan. 😵‍💫

    2024 baby...

That was crazy. I live by the Jersey Shore and it was pretty big here. My daughter is a teacher in NY and she made her kids get under the table.

Sounds like a nice cruise.  With most RE deals everything is done electronically during contract negotiations.  Can you not just make sure you have internet and email access and still enjoy your cruise?  I’ve signed multiple RE deals while traveling.  Actual closing may require you to be in person but most deals don’t close super quick so you’d probably be back.

You can give your attorney, or someone else you trust, power of attorney and they can sign the documents.

. I was surprised that there were very few drink waiters (or none) working the tables. Except in the theater and comedy club, if you want a drink, you have to walk up to the bar. That’s different from my experience on other cruise lines.

Yes, I sailed on Venezia in January and actually went to guest services and nicely asked if this was normal as I had never experienced this on any cruise that I've sailed--including previous Carnival ships.

Good morning! Today we are at Disney Springs. It's chilly this morning,  and even I'm wearing long pants. High is only going to be in the mid 60's. Patti is out browsing the shops and taking pictures. I walked with her for a little while,  but now I'm in Husband Daycare at the Boathouse. They take good care of me here! 😁

    I love the Boathouse! Enjoy!!

Thanks for a great live review. I need you to tell

me what kind of vitamins you take every morning! Week ago today I was getting off Venezia. DS and DIL flying to FLL tonight for Liberty of the Seas. 3/25 can’t get here soon enough! Y’all have a safe trip home-Jamman and Patti-dress warmly. It’s freezing here in NJ! Happy cruising to you all. Let me know if there’s another Tribe Cruise planned so I can sign up! 👍🥂

We were on Venezia the same time!

Vince Morris is staying on Celebration for the first half of the next cruise. Cooch is headed home to LA. BT is meeting the Jubilee in Cozumel, for anyone interested.

After a wine tasting on NCL Escape in 2019, we shared a few bottles of wine with DJ Cooch, Christina Walkinshaw and Ryan Wingfield. It was a great time! I have a picture of them but I'm not sure how to insert it.

    Happy Hump Day TRIBE!

Does anyone have any web sites they can recommend that offer gift pkgs for folks who do not eat meat?

I take pride in spending time and thought on my gift giving and we have a relative who does not eat meat and I am totally lost on finding web sites offering gift pkgs.

    Thanks in advance.

Goldbelly has some unique items. I was sent the site because it sells a version of a blackout cake from Ebinger's Bakery in Brooklyn (now closed), which my husband loved.

Vibe on the Viva, was amazing Curly, Michael, Madde Jasimne  made my stay first class and i wouldn't have sailed without it even on a 9 night port intensive cruise i used it daily .

Rommel wasn't in the Vibe? I thought he was heading over to Viva after Prima.

It depends. For me, having the room with the large area to lay out in the sun with a wonderful. hammock for my “balcony” AND a peaceful area at the back of the ship with great seating and views made it totally worth it! But having an outdoor area that is not crowded with great views to sit with a book or drink, and to look at the ocean and docking at ports, etc. is high up on my list! If you are more of a pool person, might not be worth it.

I compare it to NCL's Vibe area. It only offers the hot tubs, lounge chairs and bar area. My only concern is that I don't see too many lounge chairs back there. It looks to be mostly chairs.

Good morning from a sunny but chilly Saint John NB Canada. Patti is out and about taking pictures while I chill out at my Husband Daycare, Rocky's Sports Bar. We are enjoying the first of our B2B cruises on the Venezia. She is a beautiful ship. We are seriously thinking of dumping our Greenland cruise and doing another B2B on the Venezia next September. Have a great day everybody! 😎

I'm so happy to hear this. I've heard so many negative reviews and we are sailing on her in January. I was a little worried.

This entire work week has been a total nightmare... Bad enough that I'm working in pain, but some of the external stuff I'm also dealing with here is just insane. Chaka has basically made enemies with every one of the guys except for one. He absolutely won't listen or follow any kind of instructions whatsoever. He'll just wander off and do his own thing while we're all working together trying to get things done.

Even worse, because he barely speaks any English, he basically has two different responses to anything: "is good", or "is no good"... It was funny about the first ten thousand times, but now I just can't even stand him.

On top of that, customers coming in and ruining what should be our lunch break. Today, I had three minutes to scarf down a can of tuna and crackers, when a customer showed up and wanted to look at a bunch of stuff. Fast forward another hour, and she was still here.

On top of on top of that, I'm probably going to be missing an entire week of pay next week while I'm out for my surgery and recovery. I've used up all my days already on the Prima and Scarlet Lady cruises.

On top of on top of on top of that: the hospital wants my $3,500 deductible before I even come in for my surgery. AND, that's probably not even going to cover everything, so various entities will want even more once it's all done. By the time this episode of my life is over, I'll probably end up living in a van down by the river...

Does your hospital offer a CareCredit card? It is used for medical/dental/vet bills. It would spread out your payments over 24 months with no interest. Call and ask about that. Also -- couldn't you get short-term disability at work? Did you speak to HR? They should tell you what your options are.

Call and ask if you can have Meloxicam?  It's a non-narcotic that works much better than Advil for dental pain.  My daughter had oral surgery last year and her dentist was also no narcotics she was in horrible pain with just Advil.  Once she got the Meloxicam her pain was much better.  Hope you feel better soon!

I was given Meloxicam a few months ago for joint pain.  Advil and Tylenol did nothing for it. Meloxicam is amazing!

    Hello fellow cruisers!

I depart on 8/13 from Norfolk VA on Magic and super excited about it.

yesterday, my friend called me to inform that he and his two kids really really wants to tag along.

problem is this cruise is sold out - booking is not available on Carnival website.

What is the best way/strategy at this point to have a chance at booking this cruise?

I am sure there will be voluntary/involuntary cancellations up to cruise date but how do I find out??

anyone with experience booking this late?

any information or tips are appreciated.

    thank you!

This happened to me and I booked through one of my travel credit cards that booked cruises.

We loved the Carnivale area! We were out there for every sail away, and most times going into ports as well, plus before dinner for drinks (except on those heavy, chilly, foggy days). Since I had 2 lounge chairs and a hammock in my cabana, I didn’t miss the lounge chairs, but that might be an issue for people in Terrazza Balconies and Interiors.

It wad also our favorite bar on the ship; great batenders (shout out to Zora!). Used the continental breakfast nearly every day for at least coffee, often grabbed juice and yogurt//granola or muffin.

Loved the special Steak House brunch ,and the priority debarkation is nice too

Yeah, I’m sorry I picked up Cruise Crud too (or Cruise Plague, as my overly dramatic daughter likes to call it).  But I don’t mind a quiet day at the end of a 15 day cruise.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it and the bartenders were great! That makes all the difference. Thanks again -- I hope you feel better soon!

Cabin card doubles as Vibe card.

On the Prima a few weeks ago, the bartenders also put a sticker on the back of it...not exactly sure why, but I'm assuming it was for the drink staff roaming the loungers.

If you had a sticker on your card it meant that they checked the card to see if you belonged in the Vibe. A lot of people were walking in when the doors opened and they didn't belong in there.
