No it is a site to look up cruise and stay packages...and I have seen it mentioned on here before...but I was just curious if it's a scam or not. But thanks

Has anyone booked a precruise stay in FLL at Cambria suites and parking for their car for the week on stay123 dot com? I noticed stay123 is charging 30 less then doing it directly via the hotels website. I'm just curious if booking using stay 123 is a good idea considering it is cheaper then booking directly via the hotels website? Why are they cheaper? Any experiences?

Where was the beach with the conch shells? I would love to take my daughters there. Thx!
We found one at the beach right in front of Jack's Shack...and were able to bring it home no problem. Here's a photo:

I have a question about the golf carts. We are thinking of renting one while in Grand Turk. Are they battery operated or gas operated? Last time I rented one down here in Florida it was battery operated and the battery died quite quickly.
Thanks!

Years back we took the taxi from the ships dock to the Ferry at Red Hook and took that over to St John and rented a Jeep over on St Johns. We drove around the island ourselves for 65.00 for the day which beat the ships tour and we were able to eat at Skinny Legs and tour the sugar mill ruins and swim at the beach. We are going again in March 2011 and will most likely do that same thing!

Did you experience more movement being up so high and forward?
If you mean did the ship move more up there then lower NO...I felt it everywhere but I'm very sensitive to that stuff so I took bonine and was fine. I even felt like the lower decks rocked more then ours but maybe that's just me.

We had our cabin on the Liberty at 9273, right near the elevators and I have to say I won't do that cabin placement again. It was loud and at night when they had the lido deck parties we could hear the music in our cabin. Our next cruise is on midship empress deck and away from the elevators.

Thanks for the pics! Can't wait to see those places in MN :) Our girls are excited to be going (but personally I think that is cause we're going to the Mall of America!) :)

don't miss the Mall of America in Bloomington.
We are staying overnight for 2 nights in Minneapolis and going the Mall of America. Got that already in the plans!! :)

Welcome to our fine state.
(I can assure you I am not one of the geniuses ) !!!:p
Let me know if you need any info, we live on the Iron Range 50 miles NW of Duluth.
Very cool! We're taking the girls and flying into Minneapolis and then driving to Pepin WI, Burr Oak, IA, Spring Valley, MN, Walnut Grove, MN and then De Smet, SD. It's a Little House on the Prairie trip and the girls are really excited. Having read the books I thought it would be cool to visit those places plus the pageant for Laura Ingalls Wilder is going on then too. I don't think we'll be going as far North as you are though.

I read somewhere that many people from Minnesota are geniuses. :p
I know we have very good school systems throughout the state.
Could this be a corelation?
COOL! We're going to MN in July 2009 for a trip thru WI, IA, MN and SD
I need to meet some smart people after having a 9 yr old and 14 yr old LOL

But if you MISS the boat then how do you get back to the US without a passport?
That is what I meant.

Your cousins daughter can go to any DMV and apply for a state ID card. My 14 yr old has one and it comes in handy now! She can use the state ID card along with a certified copy of her BC. No copies will be allowed so she may wish to send off to her state of births vital statistics office for an actual certified BC.
We just took our 2 daughters (age 9 and 14) to the passport office and applied for passports for them on Friday. Figured it's much safer to have that then just a BC in case of emergency and we need to leave a foreign country on our cruise in March. Then they can use it if we ever do another cruise too (when the requirements do change).

Well...a BIG thing! LOL...
We live in Jacksonville Fl and had to drive to Tampa FL to take our cruise (4 hr drive one way). The next day upon making sure we had everything (we went a couple days early) we realized we left our GARMENT bag with ALL our formal wear hung up in our closet at home!
OMG...hubby wanted to drive all the way home, get it, and drive all the way back to save money. Me, well we went on a shopping spree in Tampa LOL
Spent about 400 for new clothes and a garment bag too. It was an expensive mistake!
Our next cruise we are making sure EVERYTHING including the garment bag are packed in our car!!!

What does one do in Labadee while there? Have never been there and am curious on some shore excursion ideas.
Thanks
At what point do cruise prices hit their lowest?
