 FULL DAY SHORE EXCURSION TO FLORENCE AND PISA FROM LIVORNO WITH TASTING We will be using Viator company and Need information how to travel via shuttle from cruise ship to our bus to Florence- then to Pisa and a taste. Please help I am kind of confused .Via ClaudioCogorano1 Its telling me to take the shuttle bus to the last stop-where is the last stop and which shuttle bus  do I take? Being we are taking  an excursion away from ship, will we be able to depart the ship early enough  to catch the 9:30 bus-Our ship is the NCL Escape. Thank you for your assist.

Great I found someone who knows something about the Mega Plaza, I am coming in on Carnival so porting at Mahogany Bay, Is it worth a visit to go see the Mega Plaza in Mt Pleasant and if I do is there a local bus or cab and what are the rates

Window shopping sight seeing beaching that kind of opens the door real wide so what is there to do. I heard there is a new shopping mall..other then that I know nada about this street except its one that needs to be seen.

I plan on enjoying the culture, I have been here once before about 7 years ago but took a taxi at that time, God I hope that isn't the case that people fear others because of their color, but I think more so because of the poverty and need, so do not show your bling, keep it ion your room or ship- go out and enjoy the culture this country has to offer,

This is a current message as opposed to the previous messages, I have done some research and Belize has come a long way since they have been posted, but let me add this, in every state here in USA there are ghettos, would you walk around them, doubt it, so why would you do that in a country your unfamiliar with. I am not saying don't do a walking tour, by all means, that is exactly what we plan, just stay away from the uninviting parts, where are they you might ask, if your reading this then you have a computer, do what I did research or wait for someone to reply to this message. Some of the places you might want to visit are the Bliss Lighthouse, The Belize sign, by walking out of the west gate of the tourist village stay on Fort St and both are on the road just up a few 100 yards. When your done with that visit the park across the street for some long pictures. Turn around and head back to where you came from behind the Village past the venders, stop and drop a few Belize dollars and buy a real trinket...then head on to Front Street to the Swing Bridge cross over to the main shopping street call Albert Street to end then swing it around to, not sure the name but I think its regent or royal and head back to the Swing Bridge, this walking tour has museums, culture hall, government buildings. It should last about four hours, with all your stops, enjoy.

Becci Yes but God Bless America there are at least that many killed in most major Towns and cities in in the states every night and day as well...Folks this is not stated so to scare you away from touring Belize, I have done my research and if you don't go out looking for trouble, by staying out of the less inviting areas, then it should be OK, question is where is the uninvited areas you might ask, well if you are reading this then you have a computer, ask google...or wait for someone to reply here. Anyway we plan on walking the streets of Belize to take in their culture.

Sp of I am walking to the sign and lighthouse its ok right? If I am walking from the lighthouse back on Fort behind the tourist village to front to swing is that alright? Now once I am on Albert and regal back over the bridge to front back to village that should also be OK right? That will be the extent of my walk there. I think that walk should be OK right?

Thank you for letting me know about the fast food junk stops, the fact that there isn't any. But what is the best place to stop for something to eat, keeping my American appitite in mind. Now as far as walking back from the Bliss Lighthouse to the swing bridge, am I wrong by assuming (there is that word again) that I should walk back on fort street past the Tourist village to Front street to the swing bridge* I am confused as to Queen street didn't see that on my map, where do I pickup queen street? Are there any special places I should stop along the way? How long should I allow ourselves for this walk? Should we walk all the way to the end of Albert where it meets Regent or should we turn sooner and if I turn sooner will I miss anything?

OK we've researched Belize, its like any other poor city have you ever been to Brooklyn, NY Ghetto area, its worse then the worst part of Belize City, you wouldn't walk the streets in poor areas in the states after dark, so then why would you do it in a poor countries ghetto area. We have intentions of walking to the Lighthouse from the tourist village then to the swing bridge- has anyone ever taken this walk before? What is the best directions? .I know, to get to the light house walk out of the west gate up the road a bit to the light house, oh yeah and the Belize sign Then what?? Does BC have any fast food places like Mickie D's? What does Brodies sell?

I will be cruising with my soon to be Husband on the Carnival Glory October 7, 2017 out of Miami and would love to meet other friends of Dorothy on that cruise, so who else is cruising that tour?
