We just got off of Bliss today. They let port side view for a half hour and then turned so starboard side could view. So beautiful!

We are sailing on Bliss in June and we were emailed an Upgrade Offer.

The Spirit was my first cruise ship. I love that ship. We had a wonderful cruise to Bermuda.
-
I was wondering about this too.
-
We had to leave Bermuda early when Christobal took the same track back in 2014. We left for Boston early on Tuesday morning instead of late Tuesday afternoon.

Is the sing and scream only typically offered on the first night? We are interested in the meet and greet with Jack and Sally....
Last October we were on a 7 night cruise. For that cruise it was offered twice. The one we went to was the last night of the cruise. There was a meet and greet after.

I'm not sure but it looks like twin size mattresses under that wooden structure on the left hand side of the picture. Maybe they planned to sleep under that for added protection?

We are going to be on the Magic out of NY in October. I also have a question about the slide. My DD will be 12 when we go on this cruise. I know she is looking forward to going on the Twist & Spout slide. But the OP says the maximum age is 11. I decided that I would do a little research before I give DD the bad news. *Side Note: Last time we went on Magic she was 8 and was afraid to go on the Mickey slide. This time I think she will be okay with the slide but not the Aquadunk.
The only information I was able to find were posts from back in 2013 stating that they removed the maximum height requirement and I can't find anything about maximum age requirement. Has anyone been on the Magic recently that can tell me if there is a maximum height (or age) requirement?

We loved Sylvester! When we were on the Magic he was our Head Server. He did say he would be going back to Palo after our cruise. We will be looking for him when we cruise the Magic again in October 2016!! I hope he is still there.

Patrick is concierge
Ana Maria Haza is Guest Services Manager
We're having a great cruise. Early wake up tomorrow because we're on the morning Woodwind snorkel in Bonaire.
Yes we were on the week before you. Patrick was our concierge and Roland was our Butler. It was our first time in a suite. What a wonderful time we had!!
Have a great cruise!!

Thank you for your review. We are leaving this Friday on the Dawn. This will be my second time. We are very excited and counting down the days.

we are doing the 7 day Bahamas from Galveston as part of our 15 th wedding anniversary. I remember seeing a note of how DCL loves to celebrate guests occasions. If I tell DCL about it what do they really do? We are the non partying kind and want something special for us in our privacy and not make this occasion public. How do we do it?
We went to Palo on our 10th Anniversary. We told them it was our Anniversary and they brought out a plate with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. I still have the picture.

The weather on Sunday was nice. Both of mine are males and it is the best part of coming home. We have to spend 10 minutes with kisses and hugs when we get home. I try not to pack until the day before, because when they see the suitcases they know what is coming and give us the stink eye.
My cruise is a week away. I want to start packing but I don't want my dog to see the suit case :)

Upcoming cruise we want to be able to check in with our child at home. We could choose not to; I'm just not willing to make that choice. So we will pay whatever we have to pay. I'm a captive audience. Prior to this I've never used the internet while on a cruise.
I'm in the same boat lol.

It depends on where you are going. The New Hampshire mountain usually are peak between the first and second week in October. But it takes another week or so to see peak color in the southern part of the state. I live in southern New Hampshire and there is very little color right now. Parts of Maine and Canada may be starting to see some color.

The first time we went we did excursions through the ship. Day #1 Horse and Carriage Ride, Day #2 Caves/Aquarium Day #3 Best of Beaches. Warwick Long Beach/Jobson's Cove is next to Horseshoe. Beautiful! But Warwick does not have food, chairs and umbrellas like Horseshoe. Still very nice.
The second time we went we did things on our own. Day #1 Sea Glass Beach, Day #2 Water Taxi to St. George. Day #3 we had to leave early (6 a.m.) because a hurricane was heading toward Bermuda.
Going again in October. I would like to go over to St. George again. This time I'd like to go to the Swizzle Inn. I would also like to go to Horseshoe. Maybe check out one of the Lighthouses. Then hang around the Dockyard area on the last day.

IMO there's little of interest to adults who have ever been to any reasonably sized zoo or aquarium.
I feel the same way about the caves in Bermuda.
I totally agree.
-
If you end up having to choose between Horseshoe Bay or Crystal Caves, I would pick Horseshoe Bay or even Warwick Long Bay and Jobson's Cove. Those beaches are closer than the caves, saving time on traveling. IMHO the beaches are more beautiful than the caves. If you are able to get it all in, great. If not, you could always go back and see what you missed.

I've never been. But there are a lot of reviews about it on Trip Advisor.
-
Personally, I would prefer June.
-
The ones I checked (Crystal Caves and Horseback Riding) were both cheaper NOT as a ship excursion. Even taking ferry/bus passes into consideration.
-
I will reduce the DSC to $0 if they charge room service fees for butler deliveries in suites.
Don't give me that fake crap about the poor hardworking underpaid crew. Not my problem. That's NCL's problem and they will see it manifest in the form of attrition.
You make me glad I don't work in the service industry or on a cruise ship.
-
No absolutely not. I don't go on enough cruises for this to impact my finances that much

What should I do if I am none of those things?
Nothing :)
Alaskan Cruises
in Alaska

I went to Alaska with a group of friends last June. We went on NCL Bliss. Our favorite thing was the White Pass Railroad. We would do it again in a heartbeat!!
