  1. Any pros or cons on these two itineraries.... Sailing out of Brisbane? I like both cruises but am leaning towards PNG. Any thoughts or recommendations?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

We will be traveling on the golden princess to PNG departing Brisbane on the 08 September 2017. We are looking forward to tour of Volcano in Rabaul also interested in ww2 history of PNG, should be a great cruise!

    Regards

    Steve

  2. I wouldn't bet on it!

We are sailing on Golden Princess 8 September 17, booked the Beverage Package on line also found out that I had paid to much,($79.40) the price per day is $59 per person. Contacted Princess about this and was advised that the difference would be provided as OBC, I had them put this in writing they forwarded me an email to this effect! Princess Cruise Line NEEDS to Fix this problem up, so as to maintain good will with Australian Cruises !!

  3. Thank you all for your input, i appreciate everyone. Umm i don't know if i could get my self a to buy a coat, even wear one LOL. Maybe, you never know, but I am certainly will not hesitate to try to dine in the MDR on formal nights . Now If they do not let us In, OK we will move on. If we are allowed to dine, we will by no means not feel under dressed or feel out of place!!. No one on the boat is better then anyone else, now rules are the rules, but to avoid some place because you are not wanted by the way you look, sorry this is 2014.

I'm sorry but wile I may support your right to do as you please, be mindfull of the fact that others do support formal nights as an important part of there overall cruise experience. This is why cruise lines have formal nights, so why spoil the experience that others are having ! If your not into formal nights then its easy don't go, after all they don't have that many formal nights and there are other areas that you can dine in. I feel that a cruise is special and I for one look forward to dressing up, so lets all have a great cruise:rolleyes:

  4. We are sailing on the Solstice 5 October from Hawaii, just a quick question for some-one that may know. Celebrity's web site indicates that the ship will not be boarding until 6.30 pm, so what happens if you have a dinner reservation booked at Murano for 6pm. Or for that matter what is going the be organised for dinner on the first night, there will be a lot of hungery people by this time !
