I know this is a very old thread but there will be a WW cruise in 2017.

We always give our cabin steward an envelope with $20-30 dollars in it when we leave depending on how the service was. Also give the room service folks a couple of bucks when they deliver.
Thank you. How much of a tip do I owe for the tip on tips?
-
While we are on the subject of tipping. I already did the pre-paid option for my upcoming Alaska inside cabin cruise. What would be a suggested additional amount to tip the person that cleans and takes care of our room? He (or she) probably deserves a little more than his cut of $12/day/person.

Anyone know the cost if you want to phone/text someone else with the app.

I am booked in an inside cabin for my upcoming cruise and downloaded "purple" tags. I think that means they dunk your luggage in the ocean first. :p

Just not as convenient. I will still get there and home. I am not going to let it ruin anything. I just wanted to give people a heads up.

My honeymoon cruise is coming up at the end of this month. Reading this post I guess I cannot expect anything extra. Just glad to be with my lovely trophy wife that every one will be jealous of. :D

Warning: If you let NCL book your air you may not be able to change the flights. I called and wanted to change what they picked for me. The NCL Air Travel department was no help and offered very little options even though I knew plenty of seats were available on other flights and offered to pay any difference.
Called the airline directly (US Airways) and they were all set to move me to the flight I would rather have. Then the rep found out that they cannot change the reservation, it could only be done through NCL.
Lesson learned. Ask more questions before you buy. Before this I never bought airline tickets from an agent or Expedia. I always booked directly from the airline.
On a side note, as an NCL customer both Delta and US Air have upgraded me to free soft drink and peanuts!!!

Best time is 54 days before the flight. I think the Tuesday thing is BS. My person advice is to book air as early as possible and do it directly through the airline. Not through an agent or Expedia.

Diet Sierra Mist is Decaffienated, and available on NCL ships.
Thanks Studebaker59! If I don't bring soda on board with me, this might do the trick.
-
I assume no, but is it available on board? It is not specifically listed on ncl.com

There is no reason to bring more than one refillable bottle of water per person on board. The ship's water is as pure as any bottled water, perhaps more pure, tastes great, is FREE, and doesn't come with a plastic waste problem.
I respect your opinion. However we would like bottled water and canned soda and plan to recycle the plastic/aluminum.

I will be staying at the Crown Plaza Seattle the night before my cruise. There does not seem to be a lot of retail around there. Am I crazy, but would like to get a case of bottled water and soda to bring on the ship with me. Is it going to be worth the hassle?
There looks to be a Target at 2nd and Union, but Seattle looks pretty hilly.

I called and she said they put in an upgrade today. Obviously it did not go well. She said to try tomorrow.

I seem to be getting a new Regency brochure every day in the mail. What is up with that. They could have given me a free cruise in what they have paid in printing and postage.

I have not been on the cruise but was dismayed when I realized it is not an exclusive WW trip. How are you supposed to eat healthy when everyone around you is having a trough of bacon from breakfast. I might as well just find a cruise that I want to go on and just eat the healthy options.
