I am cruising in 3 weeks and had been denied a few weeks ago. But since resubmitting has worked for some and I have nothing to lose I just sent it in again.  Crossing my fingers!!

One change was to take out the seating along the starboard side of the promenade through the casino for the section in the casino. They put slot machines in that area. I don't know if they actually increased the number of machines in the casino though. They have put more space between banks of machines making a more open feel to the place. We like the change.

 

They seem to have also replaced most of the carpet and ceiling panels in the public areas and much of the public area wall coverings. The "pillars" in the casino are even new. They were still working on replacing some of the carpet on the stairs on our cruise. The style is still the classic Carnival garish we have come to love, though toned down just a bit.

 

We were amazed at how much was done in such a short time. It is nice to see them keeping up the ship.

I have seen some say that they have replaced the lights next to the beds with ones with usb ports, did you happen to notice?

Does anyone know if they have switched to the new sea day brunch yet on the Freedom?  Going in a couple of weeks and wondering.

Sailed both, Conquest twice. Hands down Conquest.

We loe staying on the Lido. So close to the pools and buffet.  Never had any problem with noise at all.

The $5  is a delivery fee if you use the Hub app to order and have delivered to where ever you are on the ship.

Not new, been around for awhile. I don't post a lot though.  How would you feel if your question got hijacked?  I just asked a simple question and really just expected a fun conversation about what I had asked.

Who wants a lime flavored straw for a mocha get away?? Not me, Seems they could have come up with unflavored ones.  I will be bringing silicone straws.

I have only ever taken an insulated coffee cup before. But this time I want to take a bigger one for drinks on the lido.  What does everyone take and has worked well? Extra points if you have pics 😉 

My only problem with the sugar straws are that they have said they are lime flavored.  Not everyone likes lime flavoring and it does not go with every flavor.  

Does anyone know if I will need to sign for the cards?  I have ordered 3 $100 cards. I read that you have to sign for the $500 ones so I wasn't sure.

The aft pool is adults only. However the area around it is not. That is where the pizza is.

I would say 9202 or 9203 Captains Suite! They are very nice, haven't stayed ***** one but last cruise the folks in 9202 were nice enough to give us a tour. If money was no option I would pick one of those everytime. To find pics of it just do an internet search, there are plenty out there.

I believe people are saying it is unethical on the Box of wine since it is not the allowed size and would have to be smuggled on. Not taking wine that was brought on in the correct size to the dining room in a glass with you.

From what I have found it is a fruit basket, bottle of wine, 2 bottles of water and a photo coupon.

Who did you email to find out what you were eligable for?

I believe it is a new thing they are going to start implementing. Do not think any of the ships have it yet though.

I enjoyed the Honey Nut Cheerios french toast. It is a lot of food, you get two pieces so sharing an order would be great.

These rooms go very quickly since there are not many of them. So don't wait to long to book. We had one on the Conquest and we loved it.
