  1. Either one, however you may be called to claim your checked luggage. You also run the risk of having the bottles broken in your checked luggage.

Thats good to know that I can bring it in my carry-on. I always pack the bottles in my checked luggage but it really scares. Visions of my clothes dipped in red wine haunt me until I receive my suitcases. lol

  2. We hit 140 back last June on our Norway Navigator cruise. We are at 152 after Anthem in September. We didn't receive a block. We will hit Diamond plus after our Ovation cruise that sails Friday. Don't expect a block and don't really want another pound to lug home from China, but it is strange how some people get them and I never do. Never got diamond pin either. Must have to try to acquire these things?

  3. Nova Lox for breakfast @ Windjamer

Tutti Frutti Salad Bar for lunch @ MDR

Oh...definitely the salad Place on Park Cafe - Oasis of the Seas......Yummy

The antipasto @ Sorrento - Freadom of the Seas

and there was some amazing salmon sashimi in a bar on the 4-3 day cruise. I was really surprised of how good it was (maybe was the wine effect lol) Either Monarch or Enchantments of the seas. ;)

  4. OMG I guess I'm not normal...:o

I clean the cabin. And I mean clean all surfaces. With Lysol wipes. And Windex.

After I relax with a nice glass of white wine.

Hahahahaha thats too funny! I do that too, clean, neatly unpack, then I go explore ;)

It's also a good thing to explore the kids room (Adventure Ocean on RC ) and sign up on the first day so the kids can feel excited to join in. They usually give you or the kids a lanyard which is VERY useful.

  5. :'):'):')

Like the time I entered the elevator. Three young boys were sitting on the floor and pushing buttons to see if they could keep them all lit. I had to step over them to get in. There were several adults standing, backed up to the walls and all had disapproving looks on their faces. My solution???

I carry my cell phone only for the clock. I took my cell phone, pretended to dial a number, waited a few seconds and then said in a loud voice "security? we have a problem on elevator 4."

Not only did they leave at the next floor but for the rest of the cruise when this "young gang" saw me, they disappeared. Problem solved.

I also received thanks from the adults that didn't bother to speak out sooner.

I have many others also. Too many to list, but I do have fun on my cruises no matter what comes along. Buffet lines? Don't get me started. :D

  6. Last time we sailed on the FOS we did the characters breakfast but I'm not sure we had to book it and it was free.

Do I have to book it prior to sailing now?

Is there a charge for the character breakfast?

    2nd question :)

I have a five year old who will be six in the end of September, I believe she would enjoy the 'Explorers' room much more than 'Aquanauts', do you think they would let me switch? has anyone picked another room,on adventure ocean, before?

  7. Having a child who is a new swimmer I'd recommend Le Galion beach (french side). It is protected by a reef so is very calm, and you can walk in really far without getting too deep. It's also very close to a butterfly farm if that's something you are into.

    --------------------

I reinforce all that was mention above. Le Gallion beach is gorgeous, no waves, only one small beach restaurant, no crowds* I've been there only once but I plan a visit on our next cruise to st maarten <3 we met a few teenagers there , they were jumping off a structure on the side of the bay that looked like an Olympic pool (Google pics) so that was fun for my husband and our 5yr old daughter I enjoyed hiking around the rocks and off course the beach.

The taxi ride was fun, not as bumpy as going with a toddler to coki beach, st Thomas so that's GOOD ;)
