They have been available for a while. We booked ours in January.

Yes, the customer service onboard is much better than the service pre-cruise.

You should get a check in the mail. Mine took 6 weeks. It comes from a third party.

Yes, you can. Usually there are beach towels in your cabin. If not, then you can take them from the pool area.

I used my Fire tablet on my last cruise. It worked fine for email, websites, etc. I would switch to my phone for the Medallion app.

Thank you, Penguin. I enjoyed your journal. Hope to do a similar cruise some day.

I believe that Future Cruise Deposits can only be purchased onboard, and only for your own use. If they are not on the cruise with you, I don't think you can purchase FCD for them.

Hello. I also tested positive in August. I was aboard the Caribbean Princess and was in isolation for 6 days. I have been trying to get the cruise credit for those days in isolation. Through several contacts via online chat, email, and phone calls, I have gotten different replies depending on whom I talked to. So far, none of them have suggested going through Aon. I have not gotten the credit yet, or any definitive answer on when it will be processed. I know this is not the same as reimbursement for out of pocket expenses, but it does show that refunds are still being processed from August.

I see that you can only purchase 5 per month, and I plan to purchase them each month until my final payment in February. Can you tell me if the gift cards are digital? Or will they be sent to me by mail? I need to work out the timing for final payment on February 6.
TIA.
They are electronic. You will receive them by email almost immediately after you purchase them.

When you are making a payment on the Princess website you can apply the gift cards there too. No need to call.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the home page, and you will see the button for Chat. Here's a screen shot of it:

Here is the Roll Call: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2765243-caribbean-princess-august-15-2022-nyc-canada-greenland/?do=getNewComment
Where's the roll call? We are also on this sailing and I couldn't find one and started one myself.

I was in St. Thomas on November 13th, from the Enchanted Princess. We were allowed to do ship's tours, private tours, and wander on our own.
Dominica was the only port on our cruise that did not allow independent excursions or wandering around.

Turkey dinner in the main dining room tonight was delicious, with all the trimmings.

Tonight's final game show was called Hollywood Hiccups. It was hilarious! Great job by the entire cruise staff.

We've enjoyed the cruise director's staff. Lots of different trivia and game shows. Rock Opera show was great.

I guess we lost the OP?
She is still here. She has had some technical difficulties.

Please post all requirements during sailing...I.E. - mask policy, ports, dining, buffet, entertainment, etc. We will be on enchanted in March 2022.
Thank You
On this cruise lounges require "sip and cover" , wearing masks except when you are taking a drink. Things will probably change by the time of your cruise.

Refer to my thread #20. Princess did state that you have to get re-test (PCR Test) prior to getting off the ship to walk around on your own. Most Countries state the test has to be completed within 3 days of arrival. However, I never did ask Princess who pays for the extra testing. I’m assuming you would. I don’t know.
Can you found out for us? If there is a cost, how much? The info Princess gave us on this cruise doesn't say anything about retests.

I was told by Princess you won’t be able to get off the boat and walk around unless you are with a guided tour operator. The Countries you will be visiting all stated that you must be tested prior to entry.
Be interested to see what happens with your cruise. I wonder how many guests are aware of this.
All the best and enjoy your trip. I will be watching the Port Everglades webcam for your departure.
In 3 months we will be on this ship..
Of our destinations only Dominica doesn't allow independent tours.

There is a shuttle from the lodge to the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. There is a nice visitor center there and rangers give guided walks. Beautiful peaceful place to spend some time. There are some trails right at the lodge that are nice too.
