Hey got married on enchantment of the sea......its more expensive because you have to pay per person unlike carnial that gives you 20 free people in the package so it adds up.......i think its personal choice tho on which cruise line you like better...............to cut cost dont have a videographer......dont have over 50 people of your costs doubles! We had 66 ended up spending way over budget if we had under 50 wouldve been closer to carnival prices.....

That is crazy! Nothing of the sort happened to me at all! ridiculous ask to speak to the supervisor at once! demand what you paid for at once!

Hmmm hard questions i used ROyal Romance it was very expensive but everyone loved it.......if i could go back i wouldve looked more in depth in getting married on the beach instead depends on what you and your husband would like to do instead or outdoors would be the major decision! lol

As a recent bride i will give my two sense lol ....to give a back ground we sent out 200 invitations as we have big families and had 66 guests at our wedding and about 100 guests at our shower.....many guests at the shower did not attend the wedding

 

1) Engagement party i did not put any registry nor expect gifts we got a few gifts cards and lots of wine LOL

 

2) Shower we registered and most items were 50 - 80 dollars on our registry we got many many gifts pretty much our whole house is ready to go LOL.....my mother and bridesmaides put on the shower and it was very nice consisted of speeches, was in a hall, a dj, full cooked meal, games.....i think asking for a gift was reasonable for the type of event it was......

 

 

3) bacherlor party was a small goup of close friends NO GIFTS just fun fun fun!

 

4) Wedding we did not register nor expect gifts if people asked we said monetary gifts only......we received allot of money from people who did not attend the wedding FYI many people will give you money after the wedding we did not expect it but it was very much needed and appreciated to pay off the wedding we left the wedding with no debt. I would say out of 66 guest at the wedding 33 gave us money and it was a good amount! on Average it was about 150 a person........was a very pleasant surprise!

LOL i understand i wrote a whole reivew and no one responded sometimes this happens....hopefully people still liked the review! I love your diary its fun idea!

I didn't tip either I feel my wedding was do expensive already just wasn't any more money in the budget specially for 3 coordinators!

Here is how the aisle runner looked we brought all decorations it looked beautiful!

I am back from a beautiful wedding! It was magical I tell ya!

 

I took so much advice from here and made my wedding perfect for me! Here we go!

 

Oct 27th

 

We had a rehearsal dinner with all 66 guest we did the speeches and I made a PowerPoint presentation with pictures of almost everyone that was there it was great everyone loved it! We did this at the hotel it cost us around 1500 with food wasn't too bad and was totally worth it we had a private hall. The speeches were the best no one had to rush. I also gave out the welcome bags here which I know everyone enjoyed because I saw them using the stuff throughout the cruise! Specially the key card holders were a hit!

 

 

This is what I wore to the rehearsal dinner it was a second wedding dress lol

 

 

Oct 28th wedding day!

 

This day like all brides say was crazy! I assigned two friends who were not in the wedding party to organize all guest so I didn't have any worries. They got everyone on the shuttle and me and a few people went In a limo to the cruise was nice to be alone with my moms and maid of honour lol - 10 am

 

We arrived at the cruise at 10 :30 greeted by porters and went through security found our wedding planners waiting upstairs for me they made me not wait for anyone else one of my guests was having a panick attack but everyone took care of her she was scared of the cruise I handed all my decorations to my two friends in charge and went to my room and my groom went to his. I had an hour until the wedding. My bridesmaides came up and changed and then left my maid of honour helped me changed and then left to do the quick rehearsal. 12:00 p.m I was left with just me and mom I felt gorgeous and we took a couple pics lol they came at 12:20 to get me and it was show time!

 

I walked down the aisle to the so g thousand years from twilight and cried lol I missed my father he passed away but also because it was so surreal and beautiful! It was my dream coming true.

 

 

 

I met my groom at the altar and I was fine again looking at him I knew I was ready!

 

The wedding was magical the person who married us was amazing!

 

 

 

My cake table was breathtaking I brought everything on that table of colour lol

 

 

 

It was the best wedding u could imagine we brought our own photographer and used there's for the first hour there's did not take any pictures outside so I was happy we had our own to take pics outside.

 

 

 

There was plenty of food for everyone they all said it was good I didn't eat was not enough time lol

 

 

 

At 2 pm they announced non cruisers had to leave and they were not playing around we said goodbye and went outside the room. To take more pictures!

 

The rest of the cruise was great we had wonderful weather and a lovely cruise!

 

After the cruise me and my husbandddd went to Disney for a few days alone it was great to have alone time on the cruise we did a little but many people wanted to hang out with us lol
