Is it to early to book airline and hotel? Will be flying in on the 24th of June and cruising on 25 June on the Carnival Splendor. Need a hotel for 1 person, do not want to spend over $200 including taxes. I have been checking Hotwire, what area would be safe to stay? I am not interested in sightseeing. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Do you enjoy solo or do you have friends who don't travel with you? I have friends who are married or those with little cash for travel so I have just decided to travel alone for the first time. My one travel partner has no interest in some of my destinations so these are my solo plans for now. Just wondering what people are doing.

I enjoy traveling solo and I have friends who are married, those with little cash for travel and those who just don't want to go on a cruise. Because I travel solo I don't have to worry about waking someone when I return to or leave the stateroom. I also don't have to wait for or share the bathroom. I say go for it, you will not be sorry.

Carnival Splendor on 26 June 2014 to St Thomas VI, San Juan Puerto and to Grand Turk. This will be my third cruise (all solo).

About to go on my second solo cruise in 12 days. I have only cruised solo and have had a ball both times. I have the fever!! Most of my friends say that they are going, yet never do it. I ended up booking this cruise about two months ago because I was waiting on them to decide for 6 months where, when and what. I refuse to continue to wait on them. I am ready for some fun, relaxation and to meet/greet people from all over the world.
