In Belize, if you walk to the right when exiting the dock, you will find a little courtyard with stores...there is small store there selling cold water and soda AND bags of hot mini donuts...they were DELICIOUS!!
Please tell me more about these hot mini donuts you speak of!
What store are they in???

Great review and pics! You two are too cute
with the balloon hats. Thanks for sharing! :)

Most of the still photos, and the above-the-water videos, were shot with a Canon Digital Rebel T2i camera with an 18-135mm image-stabilized lens.
Holy schnikes! That lens is bigger than Dad's :)
The results clearly make the schlepping worth it, though!

Photos are near-professional level.
I take that back - almost every picture is professional-level.
What kind of camera did you use?

Enjoying your pictorial very much.

My company (more then 30,000 stores) pays 52 for a BIB. You know Carnival is paying less. You put ice in a plastic cup, you may be putting in 4 to 5 ounces of soda.
That takes the glass down to around 6 cents.
Carnival does not have fountain soda at all - it is all by the can.

Hi all. We are going on the Dream out of Cape Canaveral. Our cruise leaves on a Saturday. We are flying in on a Thursday and staying in Orlando we can spend the day at Universal Studios on Friday. Then on Saturday we are going to Cape Canaveral to get on the Dream. What is the best way to do all this shuttling about? I was thinking of taking the Super Shuttle from the airport to the hotel. But what is the best way to get from the hotel to Cape Canaveral? Any suggestions? Thanks!
Plenty of companies will take you from your hotel - it would
be a private shuttle and cost $100-$200 depending on group
size and type of car. Much cheaper using shared shuttle from
airport so may cheaper to head BACK to airport to meet
shuttle??? Try this link (hope it works)
Also check with your hotel - they may have some ideas.
Good luck!

I'm wondering if there are quiet places to read. So any "quiet" places you can suggest....oh, and I don't like to be out in the sun, so indoors, if possible! Thanks.
- Unused lounge (piano bar, jazz club, etc)
- Some ships have quiet and comfy seating areas at the top of the stairwell (near the Spa??) - I can see it in my head, but not sure of the exact spot :o

Has anyone bought a 12-pack of soda in-port
and brought it on?

Somebody kindly in another post sent me the map of the pier in Cozumel wondering if anybody here has the map for Roatan?

Two tires and cranky? OK, having worked and owned a bike shop since 1963 I get this one.
It was the first punster who started this vicious cycle
and kicked me into high gear. :)
The mods spoke to me about being a thread derailleur and
want to stem it. They say it's not helpful to make a thread
fork into different topics and I'm trying to pad my post count.
I'm sorry, but I can't chainge especially when I'm on a roll.
Don't lose your grip and report me if you can't handle it.
But if I get banned those are just the brakes.

I just read the Carnival contract on their FAQ page and can find no indication that anythikng is prohibited other than alcohol, weapons, drugs and live animals. So where are bikes and such listed as prohibited?
-
A possibility is that illegal drugs can be stashed in the frame of the bike.
Meaning Drug Trafficking.
Yup - dismantling and searching the bike
frames for contraband makes the screeners
two tired and cranky.

Wow! That's insane! I think it's awful they cost what they do here!
Pepsi Max is a good, affordable energy drink if he likes cola.
It's contains a good dose of caffeine and some ginseng.
0 calories to boot.

I just feel bad for the OP (and her kids).
Cruising with my family is one of the biggest joys
I have ever known. Her loss.
