  1. We just did a 14 consisting of 2 - 7 day B2B in the Caribbean on the Caribbean. I wouldn't do it again since the entertainment repeats in the second week and 85% of the passengers change for week 2. We had to leave the ship at the home port - FLL - for 6 hours during turnover. They did take us to a mall. Yes, we did get 2 credits for the cruise.

  2. We’re this is on this ship doing an 14 day E/W Caribbean. Apparently the virus has reared up again on this ship. All food in the buffet has to be served to you and they closed the laundries today. We generally have to find our own water in the buffet area. 72 hours for them to do your dirty clothes will be difficult on a short cruise. It appears everything from entertainment to food to cabin service has been chopped. This is day 4 and we finally met our room steward. This is our 5th Princess cruise - the second in 5 months and it’s hard to believe this is the same line. We’re probably moving on to a different line. Too bad. We liked the old Princess.

  3. We have 5 cruises with Princess and 1 with Royal. We were looking for a fall 2023 New England trip to see the colors. Princess has gotten pricey lately and MSC had a good promo.  I called in and spoke to an agent who was in the US and booked the 11 day next October. I got the Veteran discount and they matched my Princess status all while I was on the phone. (I had my DD214 on my phone so easy to email) Very smooth transaction.

We just got off a Mexican Riviera cruise on Princess where the ship was just under half full. Food was good as was the entertainment. It was a great trip that required a port change due to a hurricane. No complaints at all - only pricey.

    Time will tell.

  4. On 10/28/2017 I gave Princess $200 as a FCD. Since my 2 planned cruises have succumbed to the KungFlu, I requested them back a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, I had cancelled the credit card I had used. The rep said they would refund to the cancelled card and it would reject. Then a check would be mailed. Count take SIX months. Are you kidding me.  That will break me of doing this again.

  5. This seems simple to me.....you have $10,000 of my money. You were unable to perform the service I paid for, even though it was through no fault of yours. I want my money back.  You have been either unable or unwilling to comply with my refund request that you solicited. Do you really expect me to ever step foot on another one of your ships?

  6. I anticipate it dropping much lower as more of the virus emerges.  I have owned it for well over 10 years and never lost money on it till now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it below 20. As more cruises get cancelled and fewer are offered, times will be tough in this segment. I want to see the bottom and then see some recovery before I jump back in. The cruise credit is nice but I don’t want to bleed hard dollars to get it.

  7. We just got off the Island Princess on a Ocean to Ocean Panama Canal trip. We were to travel with another couple however he had a minor operation that was botched by the surgeon. He cancelled about a week before the trip and got all his money back sin insurance premium. Cheap Cheap protection.
