We will be on Indy over Christmas! I can't wait to read more! Will you please post Cruise Compasses and menus? Also, a friend will be traveling with us who is obsessed with A-1 steak sauce. Do you know if they have it in the main dining room or Wind Jammer? Thank you!
Another cruiser is posting compasses on this cruise on another thread. They have all the compasses so far AND menu's:p

Following along and really enjoying it! We board this Monday 11/27! Can't wait is an understatement!!!

I will be boarding Indy this Saturday. I will try to upload the pages when we return.
Great! We board on 11/27 and look forward to seeing the Compass. I hope you enjoy the cruise director aka Bing Bong. We've had him twice and love him! Enjoy your cruise! :D

Marc Walker responded that they will decorate the ship on 11/23.

We will be on Indy 11/27 right after Thanksgiving and I read they decorate about that same time. I follow Marc Walker on FB and will see if he responds to a question about when they will decorate for Christmas.

I didn't see the Quest game show (unless I missed it). Did they not do that on your cruise?

Indy was our 1st cruise in 2012 and we've been hooked since! Sailing on her again this November and can't wait!
-
We were told by our server last year we could always get Indian dishes (vegetarian or non) and so we ordered them many nights on both cruises and it was always available and a wonderful addition to the usual menu choices.

Did this tour with Marvyn in December 2012 before he started his own tour company. He was WONDERFUL and took us everywhere we asked. When booking we told him we wanted to see the area and not just the tourist spots. I had read about the Blue Hole which wasn't as touristy then as was Dunn's River so that's where we really wanted to go. It is a must and was stunning. We ate at Scotchies which was very good and had a nice outdoor vibe. Marvyn even had a cooler and stoped at a local store so we could run in and get cold drinks. We toured a local flee market which was very, very interesting. Marvyn always made sure we felt safe wherever we went. I simply can't say enough about him. We've been FB friends since then!

Cruise Director Marc Walker just posted this on his FB page:
Final update I hope, for all on Majesty, who are ashore. All aboard time now 2am as port is closing at 6. Heading to calm seas, away from storm, and tentatively scheduled for PC on Saturday. I can't answer questions about next cruise I'm afraid... pls go to royal website.

I was on the RC website and noticed these weather related / itinerary changes they just posted. I thought I would share.

It's just like when you book a flight and the price goes down, the airlines don't compensate you so why would you expect a cruise line to do it? I've upgraded before when the price went down, it's part of the fun to me. I watch a cruise and then book when I feel like it's a good price, then I check it as it gets closer and wallah, I get a better cabin for no more money! :p
-
Regarding Majesty, Marc Walker said it's definitely Susan McColl but I'm not sure on the dates.
-
Was on Majesty 8/29 and the table next to us always had Indian dishes so we mentioned something about it on the last night to our head waiter and after a few minutes he brought out 2 plates of Indian food for us to share. It was DELICIOUS! Now that I know I can order that I will be doing it again when we go in October! :p

I am enjoying your review. My daughter and I were on this cruise with you and had a wonderful time. It's nice reliving some of the events on the ship I had forgotten (too much rum maybe :p). I also booked the 1/19/18-5 day cruise (what a great price) as well as this Halloween. I may have an addiction!
-
Really enjoying your review as it's taking me back down memory lane. We were just on her 10/26-10/30. I wasn't sure how we would like a smaller ship but we had a GREAT time! We really enjoyed the Centrum (what was the name of that crazy dance instructor from Spain???) and the band Rockport was great, you are right! We danced our feet off on formal night and are still smiling about it.:p We've booked a cruise on Harmony in November of next year but I'm already trying to figure out how to squeeze in a 4 day cruise on Enchantment before then. Thanks so much for bringing the memories back! :D

Part Two:
I did not expect there to be 2 ships, but I wonder if their were even enough lounge chairs for one ship if you left at a later time like after 10:30 am.
I would go again, but I NOW KNOW what to expect.
We were there on 10/27 and got lucky I guess as we were the only ship that day. We did not go early (around 11:00am) and there were plenty of lounge chairs. We snorkeled for the 1st time and had a GREAT time on Cococay. It even inspired us to snorkel in the Bahamas the next day.

This has been a wonderful and informative review! Thank you so much for the time spent pulling this all together! You have me almost convinced to get the drink package and I was leaning away from it prior to your review. We leave on 10/26 for our 1st ever cruise without our now adult kids  (celebrating our 20th anniversary a few months late). Plus we have an aft junior suite w/balcony (7166) and I am beyond excited to finally experience this type of cabin. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!! :D

Watching you back in now.

Did you post the compasses? I thought I read they were on here but I can't find them. It may be because I'm on a mobile app and just don't know how to navigate it. :confused:Enjoying your review. Oh and both my parents went to TCU. :) Thanks!!

I thought the same thing and wish I lived close enough to do that! Ahhhhhhhhhh, the klobasnek . . . how I wish I had one right now!!
