I moved this cruise yesterday to a July sailing and upgraded because I knew this was coming.

I will say this she’s way earlier than others as Leticia sent me my email yesterday too, I’m also on the March 10 HOS.  I would love to hear feedback as well as I’m seeing some mixed reviews but I will say she’s super responsive.

When the kids grow up and change addresses their level will change to their history.

 

Before they changed the policy they used to just drop down to Diamond.

Yup at their ages they will be still Diamond lol! They have a lot of cruises till they move out!!!

My kids went on their 1st RC cruise last year and automatically have our status after the 1st cruise which is Diamond until next years cruise when we achieve Diamond Plus then they are Diamond Plus! Lucky little buggers lol! There's a lot of dollars tied to that achievement they got after 1 cruise. I'll try to listen to what they say at the top tier event. I would think RC would be proud of how many people are in each tier it means we sail with them.

What does this rather fuzzy statement really mean from Royal's website? "Reserved seating in select entertainment venues." What venues on Oasis are select? Trying to decide if I actually need to reserve any of the shows or wait till my concierge email.

I want one and most of the time would laugh but I’m going on a Spring Break cruise so I can only imagine what could happen! Might have to be inside!

That's good news! I'm curious to hear how it goes. I have it booked for the March 25 Oasis sailing and I just got an e-mail from Royal Caribbean saying that they changed the difficulty level of the shore excursion from "moderate" to "strenuous". All the reports I've read so far sound like a solid "moderate" to me. I'm wondering if something changed with the tour or if they're just being overly cautious.

Witherwings we are on this sailing to and might be doing this! I think it looks like fun and if it tires my kids out even better lol!

I think the itinerary is a great point. We have 3 sea days and 1 Labadee day which takes the package so it made a lot of sense to buy it this time.

This is exactly what I’m trying to figure out “is it worth it.” Last year on Allure we had a suite and we are Diamonds so we had access to free drinks in the suite lounge most of the day and the Diamond 3 drinks in the evening. We also went to some of the parties for Diamond members and had free drinks. The issue was if we wanted a beer or wine we had to have the choices on the Diamond list and go to the suite lounge which is sometimes pretty far away. It actually got kind of aggravating so I’m really leaning toward a drink package! Plus the water, lattes, and soda and the sale. I’m thinking we are going to give it a try.

I literally was just looking this up yesterday in regards to free drink "coupons" and here is what I found from the RCCL Diamond Benefits site: The Exclusive Nightly Diamond Event is a benefit for only Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club member and cannot be extended to include friends and family. The event will take place approximately between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Three nightly drink vouchers will be loaded on the member’s SeaPass card to be used in venues throughout the ship.

To use the shore excursion credit you have to call the shore excursion 1-800# or book onboard. You can't book online. I have it too and we are going to book onboard. I'm not sure if you can change it. You may want to call your travel agent or NCL

Rent a jeep and drive to the other side of the island! So much fun and awesome bars like coconuts, no name bar.

I love the idea of writing on the preliminary questionnaire "No Sales Please or No Spa Product Presentations" I agree with the OP I don't want to have to wait for them and know it's coming even though I have no problem saying no. I'm going to try this next week!
