Yep, you can bet that rather than try and assist either in breaking it up or tending the injured, some people would have had their phones out quick smart to video the whole thing.
Ice to see as of late people getting charged criminally for doing that.

Thank you, this does work. Any idea what this indicates about the webpage that this prompt is the only way to get access to excursions? It doesn't seem like it's refreshing but I'm just curious how you came up with this solution (which I really appreciate by the way!). It's kind of like what you sometimes have to do when clicking a link in an email...
Your welcome ! I am no tech here so here goes my best guess ,It over rides your pop blocker and allows the website to show the excursions in this case , princess has for some reason gone back to the pop up format, witch almost all browsers block , so it’s a error on princess IT people to fix this

Again hold the ctrl key sorry I should have said that if it won’t go or gets stuck hold that key it should work !

Try holding ctrl key when you click on it

Mine was the pop blocker stopping it hold ctrl and hit the excursion you want
hope this helps

WeDock at Ocean Quay
Copenhagen has four major passenger ship cruise terminals:
- Oceanskaj (Ocean Quay) – the largest cruise terminal, the furthest from the city, and the main port used for cruises that start or terminate in Copenhagen.
- Langelinie – just to the north of the city center with walking into the city a possible option.
- Nordre Toldbod – very close to the city with walking a very pleasant option.
- The Ferry Terminal for Oslo (Færgeterminal Søndre Frihavn)– see Transportation to the DFDS Oslo Ferry Terminal in Copenhagen for details. Ferries to Malmo no longer operate but the Helsingor-Helsingborg ferry remains popular and practical.

What do you mean not really ? In both cases high end wine or over the limit both of these folks would no doubt have a package correct?
so they would be doing princess a favor ? -
most have the package so bringing your own is doing them a favour LOL

Staffing is clearly an issue as we all have said. My point is that it might not be the only issue. You make those statements about how the app works and yet I bet that is just your opinion. You are entitled to your opinion, of course, but IMO you don't actually know the facts of where orders are routed or how the app works. I bet that the app does not take any account of staffing levels at each bar. So if you can corroborate your statement then it would be helpful otherwise please don't state your opinions as if they are facts because it is misleading.
the app works as intended your saying the app is an issue here I say its not the main issue in this case thats all

I haven't seen anyone suggesting that they should do that. There should be enough staff to mean that OceanNow orders can be satisfied in a sensible timeframe.
As to whether it is an app problem or not... I don't think we can say one way or the other without knowing how the app works. From my experience it looks like the way the app sends the OceanNow orders to the bars does not mean that the bar nearest you will get the order so perhaps that could be improved... who knows. 🙂
You Said that in fact LOL
No Staff is no staff they need to Improve the wait staff from What I am Hearing
the order will go to the nearest bar with free staff and depending on the order not all drinks / Food are available in all bars so it goes to the closest one with the items ordered
staffing not the app is the clear issue here !

One final thought... OceanNow...
It is a total waste of time. I so wanted it to work and to use it but after we tried a few times we just gave up and never used it again. Drinks would either not turn up at all indicating they were delivered when they were not or delivered to the wrong location, or the wait was up to an hour. That is not a viable service IMO and again, IMO, this service should be totally withdrawn until they can find a way to make it work consistently. I have heard others have a better experience but if they can't make it work most of the time then the service shouldn't be offered at all IMO.

My point here is this is not an Ocean now App Problem its a staffing problem
Knowing there is diminished staff running around you can not expect them to drop the person in Front of them to answer the beep from the app
your right they should put the app on hold till they top up the staffing issues

No you don't have that right... no wait staff so I queue up at the bar along with everyone else!
I didn't ever use OceanNow from a bar and only used it a few of times before we gave up... once by the pool (didn't turn up), once by the pool and did turn up and once from in my cabin (didn't turn up but was delivered to the Wakeview Bar).
I would never use OceanNow if I was already in a bar... that would be silly!
so if I have that wrong and your not ordering drinks ? then what was wrong ?

WOW!! and you dint jump on that LOL ! thers still time

If there is a weak point then it is the bars IMO. The numbers of staff is significantly reduced

That is, unless they have updated medallions that work like Star Trek TNG communicators, which would be so cool...
That’s probably not that far away , we will all have a chip or communicator
and yea it would be so cool

How did the app fail ? The order went threw the server showed but can’t find you that’s the apps fault

You know alot about drink pakages. Which one do you buy and how many drinks aday do you consume?
we all have our own Ideas and Limits but you can hit 15 With out to much trouble .
None the less this is a comparison not a drinks question !
We Like the Celebrity Ships Layout is much Better than Princess, the Itinerary on Princess is the best we find it fits our needs well , staff is great on both and the food is good on both
All in all there very comparable to each other , we switched back to princess do to the price Gouging on celebrity i find princess more bang for the buck !
at the end of the day you cant go wrong choosing either ! but Princess for us is he Better Choice !

Your cabin may be assigned as late as embarkation morning. Your medallion can actually be programmed then if need be.
They program the door not the medallion so you will be fine nothing needs to change on the medallion

Mr. Padgett,
As a Princess shareholder, T/A and frequent paying guest on many cruiselines (which is a part of my business), I do find that Princess is doing well to separate herself from the others with the new Sun. Admittedly, the launch was flawed, and there are some kinks to iron out, but I'm optimistic that these can be ironed out, especially as you have delayed the launch of the Star. My guess is that this was done to fix some of the issues that have been noted on the Sun.
I know that things aren't perfect in any business; I don't look at anything as rainbow glitter and hearts and flowers, but an opportunity for improvement. Thinking of the course that Princess is taking, it appears that you are trying to appeal to families while giving more distinction to those who purchase suites as well, which are both good business moves.
Thank you for the forward-thinking and changes on the fly.
with the casino full time smoking , the dining and several other missteps there going backwards in my mind ?

Which ship? For what it's worth, I never smelled smoke in any Princess dining room (over 30 cruises.)
I think sun is the only ship so far that has full smoking in the casino
