  1. Dora was amazing we had a wonderful day touring Cartagena. Just back from our 11 day cruise on constellation. Safe driver in AC clean van, Emma met us exactly where Dora emailed us she would be waiting for us. Dora speaks excellent English guided us well during a very busy time right before Easter. Felt safe, Emma kept us close. Beautiful views above the city at La Popa, City tour of Fort and old Walled City with walking tour and Emerald Museum. Highly recommend Dora

  2. Recommend Advance Rental Cars for one day in port!!

Celestino met us at the Mega Pier(tiny bit confusing where to actually meet) but once we found each other wewere off to explore the island. Had GPS for added 5$ which made it very easy to get aroundvisited Shete BokaNational Park to see the Natural Bridge and three other vantagepoints with a blow hole and a cave, highly recommend and wear good shoes forhiking. Then off to the west side beaches-not to be missed Westpunt/PlayaGrandi fisherman bring in their catch turtles/dock/boats/beach. We actually swam with the turtles-lots of them!

Follow the road until you seesigns for Playa Kenepa, also known as Grote Knip and Playa Abou. It's a free public beach. The overlookis breathtaking, and the water calm and clear. Next up was Grote Knip, with its bright white sand and crystal blue waters. There is alsosome areas to go snorkeling along the rocks on either side of the beach. TheKlein Knip beach is one of the smaller and calmer beaches we visited on theisland Playa Lagun isone of the most recommended beaches by locals on the island. The small andrelaxing beach is not overflowing with tourists giving it a nice atmosphere. Weended the day at Playa PortoMari. If you just want to relax on the beach or enjoya meal at the restaurant, entrance is free. It has crystal clear waters and araft moored off the beach. Good luck! Celestino is the best!!!

Driving back towards Willemstad makesure not to miss the Flamingos sanctuary. To get to the flamingo viewing area, you can plug in Jan Kok to your GPS. This will take you close to the saltflats. You’ll know when you’re there because you’ll see the Flamingo Area sign!or can park along the road and walk across the sand to one of the viewingareas. It only has a small sign along a pull off, so keep your eyes open forthe entrance. Walk out to a small lookout platform in the water for a closerview of the Flamingos. Celestino gave us a cell phone to call when we wereready to meet back at the MEga Pier, used GPS to fill up with gas, you need topay attendant first so make you best guess in liters how much to put back inthe car. Great day on Curacao!!

  3. We just got back from our cruise to ABCs and we rented these carts, so much fun zipping around the island stopping as we pleased-snorkel or take pics. There is not a locked storage. We took our bags with us and anything of value, and of course take the key to the golf cart. IF snorkeling, then may want a dry bag. We stopped several places and left our bags on the beach and no one disturbed them but usually one person stayed behind to keep an eye on things. Have Fun!!!

  4. Four adults joined three otherfolks for a wonderful 1/2 day on the water with Bumpy in Aruba. First, we metthe owners Tammy and Jay Zuschalag, just outside the gate of the cruise pier at9AM, Very nice folks who chatted with us as we got ready to board FullThrottle. Everyone was well informed for safety and got ready for fun. As soonas we left the harbor we buzzed by not only our cruise ship but all thesailboats, pirate ships and other boats that were slowly making their way tothe snorkel spots. Bumpy made sure all were comfortable getting into and out ofthe water at all three snorkel spots, briefed us on each one. We were served ayummy rum punch and even stopped just outside the breakwater at RenaissancePrivate Island where there are pink flamingos! Wonderful trip and highly recommend Thank you Bumpy, Tammy and Jay

  5. Hi Sandi,

We leave for our Southern Carribean Cruise in less than 24 hrs on Summit, different ship but am really getting excited reading your review/pictures, especially the views from the Fort San Cristibal. I saw your husband's shirt Alaskan Brewing Co. That was our last Cruise 7-2012. We visited the Brewing Co in Juneau after trekking up the Western Trail to the Glacier at Mendenhall.

    Thanks again,

    leslie
