  1. You can never predict what time the luggage arrives  I've had all ours waiting when we got to the room at 1:30, and I've had it not show up until 9 or 10 in the evening, after dinner. The first night is always casual at dinner, for that reason.

  2. It depends on how bad the weather is coming back into port, fog can delay your arrival by several hours.  It also depends on how quickly your status can get you off.  I have been in my car on the way to Houston at 8:10, and I have sat waiting for my number to be called at noon (that was fun). So, unless everything aligns in perfect order, I would say no.

  3. You will love staying in a cove!  It is so close to the water, and the view is unobstructed by life boats.  You are also only one floor away from the MDR and the atrium. And coming back to your cabin after a day in port if the line is long you can just walk up a few flights of stairs to get to your room. I would book a cove again in a heartbeat!

We just booked our first cove on the Breeze and I’m looking forward to it. We always get balconies and this will be a change. We’ve been in spa deck, aft extended, regular balconies. We have a large balcony near the aft on the Conquest coming up. I’m looking forward to being close to the water in the southern Caribbean. Hopefully a nice smooth ride down so we can enjoy it.

We have had coves on the Breeze twice and loved it.  I would recommend checking the deck plans for what is above you, we were right under the excursion desk, 2272 then 2268 the next time. We never heard anything, but I have heard others heard galley sounds all night.

  5. On my last three cruises, that is exactly what I did. Took a double walled insulated glass with me that I had originally purchased in the gift shop if the Breakaway, and had the bartender put my frozen drinks in that. They were more than happy to accomadate. The pool wait staff would take my glass to the bar each time. It was great, kept the drinks colder much longer in the hot southern Caribbean weather

I was searching this thread to see if anyone had mentioned this before I asked myself. I am new to NCL, and plan on bringing my own tumbler, I was going to see if this would be possible. So, they didn't have a problem with pouring your drink straight into your glass, it makes so much more sense. I know what I will be doing when I go.

  6. We just got off the Breeze yesterday, my favorite ship! I agree, Cucina del Capitano is very good. The only issue we found with doing it during lunch is that it is located directly under the basketball court, so it does get loud. Other than that, it was fantastic. Have a great cruise!

  7. As others have said, they are somewhat sheltered from too much sun, perfect for reading or just watching the water. They aren't convenient to the upper decks, but only one or two floors from the MDR. And super convenient when coming back after a day in port, only two floors from your room. Ours was quiet, we never heard our neighbors all week.

  9. You know I've heard so much about these cove balconies, I think we need to check one out for sure!!!

You should for sure, they are worth it. No noise from our neighbors (maybe we were just lucky), close enough to take the stairs back after a port stop, one flight up to the MDR, sheltered a bit from the sun, and you get a great view of pier runners! Just be careful of what is on the deck above you, the ones under the galley are noisy. We have been in 2272 on the Breeze, and will be close to that again next month, the only thing above us was the shore excursion desk, I think.
