Was just at Nachi on Valentine's Day and it was just as good as it had been the previous 7-8 times we have been going there since 2002.

Not crowded (and we got there late) and still peaceful and relaxing, with incredible food. (still have not made it to desert yet)

A lot of seaweed on the beach, but knew there would be a bunch, as it was everywhere in the water as we arrived in Cozumel.

We love Nachi. Have tried Mr Sanchos and as others have stated to rowdy for us.  We were there again on 4/4 and the one disappointment we ran into this time is if you are paying cash  they are really stricked with no torn or marked bills. We had a few bills that had the usual wear and tere and they wouldn't accept them. We ended up short on port spending money because of it. Just wanted to add this little tidbit of news.

Also, when were there taxi for 4 was $17

How was the weather Cozumel at Nachi Cocumin February?  I’m booked for February 2020 and reading through these reviews I saw one that they couldn’t get in the water or sit on the beach due to the weather!!!  Sounds like you had a great time.

  2. I read your review with much anticipation and was saddened to hear that you do not recommend going to Bermuda in October.  😔  I am seriously considering the Pride cruise to Bermuda this October.  My schedule is hard to get a week away but I can actually get away during this time frame and was looking forward to going to Bermuda, but now I wonder if it’s worth it???  I may not get a chance to go in spring or summer months for years.  Do I risk it and go now?  If I do go now, should I splurge on a balcony or extended balcony or is the weather too bad to enjoy the balcony?  Thank you for any advice you have for me.

Really doesn't matter.  When a ship docks at King's Wharf (or Heritage Wharf next to it), it's comes to chance on which side of the ship faces the port.  Usually, a ship will alternate which side (port or starboard) faces the pier so they can take test runs of the muster boats on each side of the ship.

Oh darn!  I was hoping I could plan to have the shore view, especially since we will be docked there for 3 days!

Not really.  If you are not familiar with the concept of brunch, think of it as bigger breakfast meals, often combined meals that include aspects of breakfast (eggs) and lunch (steak), and also lunch dishes will be offered, like sandwiches or lighter fare, typically not pizzas or flatbreads.

Here is an example of a Seaday brunch menu (not sure how close to the current menu that is - it looks similar to the menu we had last month on Elation):

And the caramelized cheesesteak on the brunch menu is the bomb!  😛

  5. Karen - On your Cruse (Again, I'm going on the same cruise July 10th), in what ports did you have to wear more conservative clothes (shoulders and knees covered) in order to gain entrance into Churches & Cathedrals? I realize it is depending on where you go on your excursions, but most definitely Rome & the Vatican, but how about Ephsesus & Mary's house, Barcelona and Familia Segrada? Any other excursion wear tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciate! :)
