I'm wondering - if our ship states it is docking at 7 am - how soon can we get off the boat in Dubrovnik? Also, how early can we catch a taxi to do a panoramic tour from the port?

There will be a few ships in port on our day and I would like to do the panoramic tour and start walking the walls before the larger ship arrives around 10:30 am. Do you think it is possible?

Hello All,

I will be joining a group for the Rome in Limo tour to Pisa and Florence while on a cruise excursion from Livorno. I was wondering how long they let you stay in Pisa as I was interested in climbing the tower.

However, I didn't want to hold back the rest of my group.

Is there enough time to climb the tower and walk around the tower a bit to take some of the classic tower pics while on the RIL excursion or will that hold back the group and subtract time from some other part of the trip? Anybody done it? Have thoughts on this?

Great review so far! I'm on the August 30th sailing of the Sunshine with a similar itinerary. I will also be flying into Barcelona a few days before. Did you do any other tours while in Barcelona? Any recommendations for good restaurants?

I'm wondering if anybody did both the entire wall and the fort during their short time off a cruise ship and how strenuous it is. Would it be better if I did only half the wall (the sea side) and then do the fort?

I'm a bit wary now about giving my credit card on the RIL Sharing site. Is that the way most people reserve or is there an alternative (email/call)?

I have really been enjoying your "blog." I can't wait to hear about Paris. We are starting our trip there next year and then going on to the Med. Cruise.

I'm also really looking forward to the Paris portion.... I am also considering doing Paris along with a Mediterranean cruise next year and debating whether I should do it before or afterwards and how long I should stay in Paris.

Loving your review. Also, I can't wait to hear about your Paris trip as well because I am thinking of combining a med cruise and Paris for our honeymoon next year and wondering if it is entirely too much.

I'm so glad you went to Sarafina's - it's my absolute favourite bakery/ restaurant in St. Martin. I live in Anguilla and it is a MUST every time I go over (which is pretty often because the ferry is right there in Marigot). Next time you are in St. Maarten you have to take a day trip to Anguilla!
