I also am unable to make specialty dining reservations in the medallion for my cruise starting in 58 days. However, When I log into my Princess acccount/personalizer and bring up “dining reservations” in that cruise, it tells me it must be done in the medallion. Huh?!

White Horse Tavern appears to only be open for dinner, according to their website. We will cruise to Newport on 30 October; we would have loved having lunch there!

We will be arriving in Newport next week at 6am. We would like to do the Cliff Walk, The White Horse tavern, and the Breakers Mansion. We have to be back on ship by 3. Will we have enough time to do all these? Are they walkable? Or would we need to find transportation. We don't really want to do a ship tour. Any info appreciated.

Thank you all!

Can’t find info on Princess forum, so apologize in advance if this topic has been covered recently! I can not locate anywhere in my Barclays Princess Visa credit account info on how to apply my points to a Princess Cruise final payment. Appreciate any advise!

I was on a 5-day out of Port Everglades last month on Regal Princess - there was no lobster served at all. Really missed it........

Yes, all good points, with my thanks.
Flexibility is quite important to me, as well, so I will happily stay with EZ Air’s flexibility.

Yes, I thought so as well. After years of offering very competitive international air fares, they’re tightening their belts. Or at least, SAS is!
-
I asked on Cruise Air Board, but no one has recently experienced this issue.
Have been almost daily checking the SAS website for fares from ORD to CPH this August against Princess fares. SAS’s fare for same class of service was almost $100 less than EZ Air on exact same flight itinerary . Never experienced Princess’ international airfare higher than an airline’s website fare. Always a chance Princess’ fare will down, but I’m just curious is this normal with international airfares with Princess. In the past, we’ve snagged great international fares with EZ Air. -
Thanks for your response. I wasn’t thinking about the airline published fares had no relationship with cruise line airfares, since bulk fares have such different fare codes. Can you tell I’m hoping Princess Cruises come out with lower SAS fares (ORD-CPH RT) before my final payment!
Merry Christmas to all! -
Yes, the fare class was identical (go smart). I double checked today and the SAS fare was cheaper than I remembered - almost $100 cheaper. What the heck, Princess Cruises!

I recently reserved thru Princess Cruises EZ Air a nonstop RT ORD-CPH on SAS for August. Later, just out of curiosity, I compared my Go/Smart EZair coach fare to SAS’s current fare for same category and SAS’s fare was over $50 less. Princess air fare is almost always cheaper for international flights. My spouse said it was probably higher this time as Princess buys seats at “bulk” rate and SAS’s regular web fare has gone down sine then. Has this happened to anyone else?

I may want to change cabins from an inside to mini suite for an upcoming cruise, keeping the same reservation. Is this going to be a problem - I really don’t want to cancel and rebook. Anyone have recent experience doing this?
-
Lucky Jade 13! We received the usual Casino email offer (% off cabin categories), plus Princess Plus, NOT including Princess Plus. You still had to pay extra for the Plus package.

We have received more offers during Covid than normal. The most recent offers include Princess Plus so keep an eye out, that’s too good of an offer to pass up.
The dates extend to 2023

At over £60 per person, Fortnums is pricey, albeit quite elegant. I’d love to do it but we’ll see if Americans can travel to the UK in October. If not, we’ll be there in 2022, for sure! -
Thanks for all your responses! Being American, If Covid doesn’t improve in the UK in the next month or so, our cruise will be canceled, or we’ll cancel anyway. If, however, it does work out ok, maybe it’ll be worth it to spend the extra £ and go to Fortnums.

Thank you for your input. Forgot about The Orangery, and will certainly check out the other suggestions, as well!

Will be spending a few nights in London after our Canary Islands cruise and would like to enjoy a reasonably priced afternoon tea. Am considering tea at either Royal Albert Hall or the British Museum. Could anyone provide advice on the merits of either venue? Or any other location? £50 - £75 pp (i.e. Fortnum and Mason) is out of our price range!

Ok, we’ll check out 3rd party insurance for the week between cruises. We already have PVP on the first cruise, but wondered how we would handle the week in between if we reserved the second cruise. Thanks everyone.

We’re thinking of sailing on a second cruise from Southampton, but one week later. We’ll combine EZ air, and travel around UK during the week between cruises. Will have PVP for both cruises. Has anyone done this with Princess Cruises, and know if their insurance will cover the week in between cruises? Would appreciate your input.

Yup, seems to work.

kctwinmommy from Chicago, which rental agency did you use in Southampton?
We want to rent a car at the port to tour north Dorset after our cruise, so it will be a one way only, returning it in London. Any info you can provide would be appreciated.
