  1. I also am unable to make specialty dining reservations in the medallion for my cruise starting in 58 days. However, When I log into my Princess acccount/personalizer and bring up “dining reservations” in that cruise, it tells me it must be done in the medallion. Huh?!

We will be arriving in Newport next week at 6am. We would like to do the Cliff Walk, The White Horse tavern, and the Breakers Mansion. We have to be back on ship by 3. Will we have enough time to do all these? Are they walkable?  Or would we need to find transportation. We don't really want to do a ship tour. Any info appreciated.

  3. I asked on Cruise Air Board, but no one has recently experienced this issue.
Have been almost daily checking the SAS website for fares from ORD to CPH this August against Princess fares. SAS’s fare for same class of service was almost $100 less than EZ Air on exact same flight itinerary . Never experienced Princess’ international airfare higher than an airline’s website fare. Always a chance Princess’ fare will down, but I’m just curious is this normal with international airfares with Princess. In the past, we’ve snagged great international fares with EZ Air.

  4. I recently reserved thru Princess Cruises EZ Air a nonstop RT ORD-CPH on SAS for August. Later, just out of curiosity, I compared my Go/Smart EZair coach fare to SAS’s current fare for same category and SAS’s fare was over $50 less. Princess air fare is almost always cheaper for international flights.  My spouse said it was probably higher this time as Princess buys seats at “bulk” rate and SAS’s regular web fare has gone down sine then.  Has this happened to anyone else?

We have received more offers during  Covid than normal. The most recent offers include Princess Plus so keep an eye out, that’s too good of an offer to pass up.

    The dates extend to 2023

  6. Thanks for all your responses!  Being American, If Covid doesn’t improve in the UK in the next month or so, our cruise will be canceled, or we’ll cancel anyway.  If, however, it does work out ok, maybe it’ll be worth it to spend the extra £ and go to Fortnums.

  7. Will be spending a few nights in London after our Canary Islands cruise and would like to enjoy a reasonably priced afternoon tea.  Am considering tea at either Royal Albert Hall or the British Museum.  Could anyone provide advice on the merits of either venue? Or any other location? £50 - £75 pp (i.e. Fortnum and Mason) is out of our price range!
