I have 2 Carnival cruises booked and received 4 emails for each of the cruises for a total of 8 emails. All came in a 15 minute window of 5pm to 5:15pm eastern.

I’ve seen the same cut backs you have. It’s a shame. The buffet is incredibly small for that size ship (and it’s small now on their other ships as well). When they stopped having tablecloths in the main dining room I understood it saved a lot of time and wash loads but unfortunately the dining room has more of a banquet hall look to it. When you go on a different cruise line you really notice how beautiful the dining room looks with the tablecloths. It also feels like a more upscale dining experience.

They aren't really deals. They send the same "sale" for pretty much every occasion you can think of, if you have a cruise booked.
Halloween? Black Friday? 30 days until your cruise? It's Wednesday? Here, have a sale!
It's generally very similar pricing on any sale.
I will agree that the sales at Royal are all the same…but their Black Friday ones are lower than all the others. I know, I just booked internet and it is lower than the regular sales. That’s why I was hoping Carnival would have one.

I am getting 2 emails a day from Royal Caribbean with Black Friday deals for internet, excursions and specialty dining…I sure wish I could get one from Carnival!

Others have said to not select "plaid" but to select the other option.
Ok, thanks much. I use Vanguard but selected Fidelity. I did not have to put in an ID or password. It wanted me to upload a statement which I did (with redactions) and now will wait for a response. I take it after they approve they will ask for which ship and sailing date.

I did not give them access to my brokerage account. I took a picture of statement and uploaded. I also marked out my account # on my statement.
It wants me to link to my brokerage account by giving my ID and Password through “Plaid”. It looks like the info they want depends on your brokerage.

I used the app for the first time this week.
1. I downloaded the app. A few glitches but did get it to download.
2. Opened app and it requires you to open an account.
3. Opened and account, a few glitches again, but it opened.
4. Once in the new account, it ask you to upload a copy of your statement, it also allows you to take a picture and upload while the account is open.
5. Took a statement and redacted the other holdings, amounts, account #, addresses, etc. I did this when I mailed before.
6. took picture and uploaded and sent to Stockperks.
7. Received confirm that they would be back to be in to 2 days.
8. Received email telling me to open Stockperks account and complete cruise information.
9. Opened account and entered Carnival cruise confirm #, date of cruise, ship name, etc. and hit enter.
10. Received confirm email stating they would be back in touch.
11. Received confirm stating that I had received my $100 OBC for my 7 day cruise.
I just downloaded and set up an account…but one thing you didn’t mention is they want your brokerage User ID and Password! That doesn’t sound like something I would want to do. Did you do that?

For the Oct 29, they did a counter offer that we accepted. The counter was for a YC balcony came two days after our bid (minimum) for the YC Inside, which we immediately accepted and it was confirmed within 24 hours. YC Balconies 18015 & 18025 are still available, so you may get one.
Thanks for the info. Just over a week ago we bid (the maximum - $980 total) for YC inside. I saw those two YC balconies are still available so fingers crossed.

We then bid for the Inside Yacht Club and got a Yacht Club balcony for the 7 night Oct 29 cruise,
Congrats! I also bid on an Inside Yacht Club for October 29…still waiting. When did they notify you that you won your bid?

Are the TV’s Samsung or something else? I will be on Seaside and after watching some videos I saw some Samsungs but also saw another brand with no brand name on its frame.

It’s strange that Carnival can’t get it worked out to show the games. On a Royal this past November they showed Sunday afternoon games, Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night! They had them at numerous big screens (Aqua Theater and pool deck and bars). And to make it even better, all these games were also shown in your stateroom…and the stateroom TV was large. If Royal can do it, Carnival should too.

We are traveling with a group and many want to dress up for the theme nights. Can you tell me if on a 7-day sailing they will have a white night, 50s night, and 70s night? Any other theme nights/events that I haven’t listed? Thank you!

We sail on the Harmony in 7 days. Just got an email from Royal reminding us it’s in 7 days away AND that I can book my shows now! But, I can’t. It doesn’t show up on line or in the app that I can book. I’ll assume that people with November cruises still can’t pre-book entertainment.
-
I wonder why the November cruises are not included?
-
Doesn’t sound like anyone has been able to book November cruise entertainment.

Can you use a drink voucher at the spa area for a smoothie?

We leave home on June 10 later in the afternoon, and board the ship the next day. I think we will just go to Walgreens or CVS for our tests prior to leaving home.
CVS now charges over $100 for the test…no free ones unless your doctor orders one because you are sick. No longer free if for travel purposes. Walgreens may still do it for free but you are not guaranteed they will have an opening for you. It’s easier to just buy the proctored test and know you have it and will have documented results in 15 minutes.

I confess, i often just let the cabin door close on its own. From what I have observed, it is pretty common.
So, am I a slammer?
Yes, most definitely. -
Are you playing the tables or slots to get these offers?

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but why would you go this route and pay for a test? Can’t you go to a drug store and test for free?
CVS is charging like $140 for COVID tests now…if you are getting a test to travel. If you getting a test because you suspect COVID or your doctor orders it, it’s covered by insurance.

It says what date right in the app. When you open the app, push the person icon near the top right in the middle. It will show your name and cabin number and near the bottom the check in date.

Will elegant night move for Thanksgiving?

Actually, night 6 on a 7 night cruise is not the night before going home.
