We did this last year and it was fantastic. We are booked again in 2 weeks!

I have this tour booked next month. They have excellent reviews and I spoke to Kendra directly and booked. She was super nice. However, I never received my email confirmation, contacted them again and still haven't received it. My question is, do I need that? Is there information as to specifically where to meet, what time, and who is picking you up? I'm contemplating contacting them a third time, but I don't want to be totally annoying. I'm kind of a planner and like to have print outs of confirmations of all excursions, cruise docs etc.

Your opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

We loved that hotel! Beautiful and great location! But like the other poster said, the courtyard rooms are definitely MUCH quieter!

Wow, I've had plenty of upsell calls over the years, but never one this far in advance--like 8 months out!?! That must be unprecedented. Carnival seems to be doing everything different this year.

 

Congrats on having the cabin that will make for a perfect cruise for you!

The upgrade call we got for our November Cruise was for last November 2015. Sorry about that, I probably wasn't very clear. We got the call for that one 2 days before departure date, we were already in New Orleans, but we already had the cabin that we wanted for that cruise.

For this cruise on the Miracle since there are no cabins on Lido deck it didn't matter to us. As well, if Carnival wanted full price for the Ocean Suite, I would have said no thanks. But for $300 total it was worth it to us!

We got an upsell call on our November Dream cruise as well. However, I did not bother to return the call because we had the exact room we wanted, a balcony on the Lido deck and it was perfect for us!

The Miracle does not have rooms on the Lido so it didn't really matter where we were. So when I got the call and heard that the upcharge wasn't too bad in my mind, I figured "why not?".

Can't wait, 4 days and counting!

We sail on the Miracle this Saturday, only 4 days away and I just got the upsell call to an Ocean Suite. We were originally booked in an extended balcony cabin on deck 7 and upgraded to an Ocean Suite on deck 6.

They only had 2 suites left and the price difference for myself and boyfriend wound up being just a little over $300 total. I'm so excited! Bigger room, whirlpool tub, bigger balcony and priority check-in. Woo Hoo!!!

I only booked our cruise 3 weeks ago. It was a last minute decision to take this vacation (we sailed on the Dream in November) and I was excited before, now I'm super excited! Can't wait for some Cabo sun, wonderful Carnival service and some real relaxation. :D:)

233 days until we leave NOLA on the Dream! Super excited! It will be a first cruise together for my boyfriend and me and our 2 year anniversary!:)
