Hi Jim, 

We left Kauai on April 29th. We now have five days at sea on our way to Victoria and ending in Vancouver just ahead of you. 
Explora Journey 1 has exceeded our expectations. I really think you would enjoy.

I have not seen one child on this cruise. The worst behavior with children was on Silver Seas. Parents no where around and the nanny sitting at the pool bar . The two children were screaming and annoying everyone around the pool. 

Fil Rouge has been our favorite. We will try Marble tonight and Sakura tomorrow. 
We also signed up for a five course wine pairing lunch in Anthology. 
90 euros pp.

Like most of you we are seasoned cruisers with 68 cruises on 13 different lines.

We are Wowed by Explora 1. In my humble opinion they are better than all the luxury and premium lines we have been on. 
We love our Penthouse cabin and would choose the same again. 
I also don’t understand the complaints from others. Anyone we have spoken to on the ship is gushing with praise. 
I just wish they would do the same Hawaii itinerary next year. 

We just boarded in Honolulu. Our cabin is beautiful and maybe the nicest we have ever had. Last nights dinner was good and enjoyed a Malbec that was complimentary. 
agree that lack of shade around the pools is a problem. Will spend more time on our lovely balcony. No moaners here.🥂

Thanks Jim for the Honolulu terminal information. Did you see the Explora? I saw her sail by our hotel around 10:30 this morning. I just happened to be on my balcony at the right time. 🛳️

I have four friends who recently sailed on the Grandeur. They were very disappointed in the food. For the price they said they would not go again.

Just received my points but had to reset my password.

After my August cruise I will need 1000 points to get to Zenith.

don’t think I will make it because we cruise on other lines.

I have never been a fan of the menus in Luminae. They really need to overhaul their menu’s in Luminae and Blu. They have been the same for years. 

You might enjoy the new Celebrity Edge class ships. The newer ones have a sports bar and Martini bar that are always active. They also have an area like MSC YC called the Retreat. 

This will be my 70th birthday cruise. How did that happen?

My waist might get larger and my liver will be hanging by a tread but I will have a smashing time.

So sorry to say that I am not as clever as you with my writing skills and technical ability.

 I have high expectations for this cruise and have been following along since the early stages.

I have four friends who are disappointed in the new Regent Grandeur 

They are getting off the ship today in NYC.

We have moved to a Penthouse suite for our Hawaii cruise. Does the Penthouse come with any complimentary laundry? Also can you order cocktails and wine from room service?

Can you please tell me where the Elite happy hour is on the Edge class ships? 
I understand  you can use in most bars between 5-7. I’m referring to the few nights when they have Elite lounge. Seems like S class are better suited for this event. 

Wow, what a smashing cabin!

We look forward to sailing with O again. We enjoy the two O class ships more than the smaller R class ships. 
The Vista will hopefully be in 2025. 
Next summer they will have the O class Riviera in Alaska and the first time on the West coast. So far after cruising on 12 different lines, my favorite ship is the Riviera.

Are they offering a few nights when Elite lounge is open? Where is it held? Seems S Class ships have a better location for a Elite happy hour.

 understands happy hour is at most bar’s between 5-7
