Not cruising, unfortunately. We will be staying in an all inclusive resort in Nassau. We love get out and explore, and prefer to hire local guides to show us some off the beaten path sights, as well as places the locals go. Anyone have any recommendations on private tour guides you've used in the past?

Sorry, there was no email address for you so I could not send them to you. But check post #14 for the link. ;)
Thank you very much!

Our Roll Call is pretty quiet!
I know... Pretty depressing.

I have them from Dec 10-17th. Southern caribbean - St Maarten, St Kitts, Antigua, St Lucia and Barbados.
Would you mind sending them to me as well? We will be on the January 7th sailing.

Thanks. We sail on her in January. A different itinerary but this helps.
Which sailing?

We'll be on Adventure in January. Following!

Thanks for the review. Being I have only been on RCI and Princess, I always wondered what a Carnival cruiser would think about RCI.

Yep. Special Needs will set it up and have the distilled water and extension cord in your cabin when you arrive.

Wow! Im glad I decided to stroll around in Cruise Critic today and stumble upon this thread.
We are booked on Adventure the second week of January and have pre-paid for the 2 night specialty dining package with the intent of eating at Chops. If that is not going to be available until "early next year", I assume it will not be ready for our sailing the second week of January. I would hope they will give us a refund for that package. I am sorta bummed as this would have been our first specialty dining experience.
The other changes do not effect us much but I do hope they were able to complete the cabin upgrades (new TV, bedding, etc).
Which week of January? We'll be on the January 7th sailing.

Us, too! Gave my wife the cruise as a Christmas present. We're sailing on 28 January, how about you?

They said ships are safer than home and the odds of a pedophile being onboard are almost non-existent.
This is absolutely not true and whoever made this statement is totally clueless. As someone involved in public safety, I can assure you that those sick people are everywhere. You'd be very surprised where they pop up and what positions they hold. NEVER assume there isn't one around just because of where you are.

I'm ready to be flamed, but unless they are human, they are not your children, they are pets. Animals, will survive, as long as someone will give them food, and pay them some attention.
So will your children... :)
