Back in 2013 in Labadee, our friends wanted to explore on their own. They were met with a fence with armed guards when they walked to the end of the resort area. I don't think Labadee has ever been really safe.

I put clear packing tape over them so they don't tear, fold and staple ends together. 

Keep in mind, you will have less privacy with an interior balcony; it's sort of like "Rear Window".

I really wish they would end. I have an Alaska land and sea on Celebrity in July and I'm not sure, but think I have to test before both legs of the trip.
