  1. The wines now offered don't make the package a deal anymore. the wine list prices were between $30 and $35 per bottle if purchased separately. So, $165 for 5 and you'll maybe cover the 18% gratuity per bottle or a portion of it. You'll still pay for the gratuity on the package price. Nice thing was that they had a wine tasting table set up in the WJ on embarkation day to try some of the package wines. In our case, that actually convinced us not to purchase since we didn't like many of them.

  2. Just off Navigator and they offered it on-board. Tried to book prior to cruise but wasn't available. List of wines offered is very limited, when compared to what was offered previously. Decided not to order, because of limited offerings and just ordered from wine list without discount. The 5 bottle package was $165.

  3. Thanks Crewsweeper. In the pictures I've seen of the river, the flow looks plenty strong and enough to move you along. I just wasn't sure if the flow is somewhat constant or not throughout the year.

I hadn't seen any other threads about low water in the dry months. It may just come down to the specific day we are there and how the weather was the prior days.

  4. Is the river used for cave tubing affected at all by the dry season? We are planning a trip in April and would like to know if water levels could vary with the lack of rain, since April is the driest month. This happened to us a couple years ago in Jamaica (going tubing in April) and the river was nothing but a series of connected near stagnant pools.
