Hello!

I have a son who get motion sickness on small boats. Is there a way to get from the cruise port to VG/The Baths without taking a speed boat or ferry?

My understanding from reading all these posts, is 12906 has bed by balcony, 12908 has bed by closet.

Hello! My family and I will be on the Getaway for the 7/4/15 cruise. What we have done in the past, was fly into FLL the day of the cruise,landing around 9am. Took a shuttle directly to the port and we were on the ship just as lunch was available. As far as returning, I would not make a flight departure prior to noon. Noon or later should be just fine. Also, if you go into the Ports section of this websire, under FLL, you will find many references to shuttles available. Hope this helps!

Does anyone happen to have a picture of the door for Cabin 8708 on The Getaway? I am looking for the exterior of the door with the number on it.

My husband and I are giving our 3 boys ages 24, 21, and 18, a 7 day cruise on The Getaway in July, as a Christmas gift. We are trying to come up with a creative way to give this to them. If you think out of the box and have any ideas, we would love to hear them!!

I booked Cabin 12908 on The Getaway. Is thre a diffeene between 12908 and 12906???

Hi Folks!.....I did the Virgin Goirda/Baths tour a year ago. I do NOT swim, am 51 years old and it was aewsome. Yes, the boat drops you off about 50 to 100 yards from land. However, the water was calm and after 2 strokes I was able to stand and I am 5'3". We also took backpacks, which my husband carried to the beach over his head, along with our camera, so they would not get wet. We went through the guided path of rocks then hung out at a small restaurant there. It was beautiful! We are taking our sons back next July. None of them swim either. Please don't let that deter you.:)

We are contemplatin INDY for July 2015.Can someone tell me if the H2O park is just for younger kids, or is it for teens as well?

Flat???? No so much!! Beautiful and very expensive though. We hired a minivan with 4 others. Gentleman spoke perfect English. Took us around the island, then dropped us at beach. Came back 2.5 hours later to pick us up. We oaid when we returned to port $45 US dollars each.
