  1. I haven't been to India on a cruise, but for American citizens my understanding is to visit India you must have some sort of visa. We have multiple entry tourist visas that last 10 years. The options when I got mine was 6 mo or 10 yr and since we have family there we go every 2 years or so. It takes a few weeks to process through the embassy, so give yourself time or be ok with paying extra fees.

  2. We had them on breakaway and loved it. The thermal room is a great place to get some quiet. The pool in there is great, as are the sauna and steam, but our favorite part are the heated recliners and the regular recliners. It's quiet and there aren't kids. I work in an elementary school, so no kids is a huge thing for me (love kids, but the point of my vacation is no kids).

Anyways, it was the first thing I did when we booked our cruise for escape, and we are even more excited- the loungers are raised so the issue of the pool overflowing and getting the floor wet won't be an issue like the breakaway. Plus there looks like more loungers from the pictures.

  3. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to know.

We were on Breakaway this past week (6/28-7/5). We were in group 6 for boarding (got to the port around 9:15AM), got on around 11:30AM (?). Went IMMEDIATELY to guest services, and were told they were out of Vibe passes.

We were very bummed, but at least because we had a Spa Balcony room we already had spa passes, which we used for a few hours each day. We did have a couple issues with kids in the H20 area. The first day, especially. (Families, please be respectful of the fact that some people come on cruises without kids and/or want to be away from kids, don't bring them in adults only areas.)

If you want Vibe passes during the summer, hope you are a Diamond/Platinum rewards person or you have a suite, or you somehow are getting on VERY early.

  4. Hi all-

My DH has been getting into boxing recently, and wants to continue working out/taking classes on the ship.

He has a few questions he asked me to post.

    1) is there a squat rack?

    2) are the boxing heavy bags free to use during the day?

    3) are there boxing classes onboard? If so, is there a fee?

    Thanks!

  5. Is it possible to cancel/change reservations online? Or do I have to call?

I am in the process of booking our shore excursions, and we would like to do a Sunset Kayak our first evening in Bermuda. That is the night we have a show booked, so obviously I need to change it. Will I have to call NCL?

This is my first NCL cruise with this online system, TIA for the help!
