I just tried Norwegian for the first time on the escape after sailing on the oasis, and the allure. I was only loyal to Royal Caribbean for years and only ended up on this cruise because Royal Caribbean cancelled our cruise on the empress, and couldn't seem to accommodate our schedule and budget (found that out after being given the run around for hours after the cancellation) In my opinion it was a blessing in disguise. Norwegian offered great service, not unlike that of Royal Caribbean, but they gave me more for my money. The specially dining on Norwegian blows the Royal Caribbean restaurants out of the water! And ultimately I felt there was more enjoyable activities on the Norwegian ship. I will take a Norwegian ship first in the future.

I have been on the oasis and the Norwegian escape. In my opinion they are comparable. You seem to get a better value on the Norwegian ship though. I'd certainly sail oasis again but prefer included perks of Norwegian such as dining and drink packages.

Does anyone know if there are any theme nights on escape, and if so the days they occur on?

A few people have told me that jost van dyke was great. Did you use the ships excursion ore arrange it on your own? @wonmycruise

Looking for any advice for the ship, or ports. Going with a group of 4 on the escape. Two new cruisers, two who have been on only RCL.

Don't bother trying to discuss anything other than what they have offered you. They just do not care. Seriously. They put me on hold for 2 hours to tell me there was nothing different from the last person. Not worth the effort. Just cancel.
