WOW I was on this ship when this happened. This incident went down very quietly. Nobody on board would have known this happened. I can say Bermuda thugs was not prepared for a boat full of NYers!

Balcony/minisuite has a single cup (not K-cup) coffee maker.
Suites have a Lavassa coffee maker.
Awesome, Thanks!

Does the rooms still have coffee makers?

I guess if your not in the Haven, then it is what it is..

Sorry to piggyback of this thread.. But I see a coffee pot in the room. What kind of coffee does this take? Do i need pods or can I just bring a small bag of ground coffee? Any special filters needed?

We were so excited to see Horizon come to the Northeast. Then we saw the prices!! For Summer sailings it's $4900 for 4 (wife and 2 kids) squishing into an inside cabin!!! No thanks. The Pride was $1500 cheaper. I know it's a new ship but that's ridiculous.

I'm also looking to book in Aug 2018.. An the price is a bit discouraging for a family of 4. I would love the Family Harbor Cove Balcony... I guess I have over a year to save!

How soon should you email the Matre'D? My cruise is not til Sept 3rd. Is it too early for a dinner arrangement request?

I will be on this cruising with my husband & 2 boys on Carnival Sunshine. Although we have cruised over 10 times, along with my oldest son, we will be bringing along our toddler this year. Turning 3. This is our first time traveling with him and I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm worried about dinner. We usually choose the ATD, and that wait can be lengthy. I was going to opt in for the early dinner time. My question is can we be seated alone? Although, I don't mind dinner with others, I don't think its a good fit with our 3 year old. I remember years ago, we stopped by the Maitre D' soon as we boarded and requested alone dinners for our anniversary cruise. That worked out, but since then we've always had YTD. Any suggestions?

You asst cruise director Chloe is one of the newest upcoming "stars"
she was great at what she does.
LOVED the SPlendor. and I can tell you that most of that stuff on page one was not done when we cruised this past february
Was Malcolm "Whoo Hooo" still there? He's been the cruise director forever!

I got the same offer for only $16 for the Lido. I was booked in room 8366 which was a connecting room. I just changed to another non connecting balcony. Unfortunately I declined the lido offer. I was also afraid of the traffic and noise.
